Yesterday was..... BLUE day in MannieLand! ;-) WOOT, WOO HOO, YAY! Rumor has it that the Blue Mannie Group played live at Rusty's Barn :cool:, Followed by an impromptu performance at Rusty's Porches Cafe and Bistro. Well done kitties! Mannie had a great start in the morning, with a nice blue, where he spent the rest of the day. A nice steady even blue cycle. AWESOME! What a great day for Mannie... Lubs ya big guy! cat_pet_icon Now about that amps this morning....

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D What a wet soggy dismal dreary cloudy foggy rainy day yesterday in the PNW. I think it rained steady all day.... It was a sleep in the bed day for Mannie. He'd check the door now and then, but he knew it was better inside that out. Not even one request to go out. Smart move kitty! Mannie never has been much of a cuddler, or lap kitty, especially as he has gotten older. The past couple of mornings he's come to sit by me as I work on the 'puter, I picked him up yesterday morning, sat him on my lap. And he stayed. :-D It has been ages since he has done that. I think he must have laid there for close to an hour. We had lots of pets ad scritches and a ton of purrs. It was just the coolest thing. LOVED IT!, and hope he comes back again and again.... :shock: This morning we had a great test, feed and shoot and clean plate club , purrs and a few cuddles. :cool: Normalcy in MannieLand. :-D

Have a great day everyone. I am on DGS duty through Friday. A swim day for us, and then whatever looks good, hopefully we will have good weather. I will try to get to condos in the evenings... I just can't during the day. Kitties: you be good! Think blue! Think green!

Shadow - today is your special day, an OTJ celebration! No way will the Halloween Party for us all overshadow your OTJ party. I am so ready to celebrate with you, cook for your party. Kitties: YAY! It is Halloween! I am so ready, and SO STOKED. Party time! The tour bus has been decked out, and is ready to roll. Are you ready kitties? We are a traveling party today, a progressive party, where we can experience the vast diversity of the places where all out kitties live. Our journey begins in the dunes and the desert of the SW, to the eerie mists and foggy marshes of the forests of the PNW, through the Corn Mazes, Bat Caves and Vampire Dungeons of the MidWest, to the slithery shiny sandy beaches of the SE, to our final destination: the veil at Camp Stu. I so look forward to Camp Stu - the veil will be the thinnest tonight, and with Camp Stu being the magical place that is it, well it has been said that the veil will be thin enough that we can see our departed friends at the Bridge - all of them. We can see them, touch them, be one with them once again. We will hold a special moment just to remember them all - bring your candles, we will light them all, a circle of remembrance for all that have gone before us. Grab your costumes, and let’s go! This is one special day with Shadow's party and Halloween and the veil lifted and seeing our GA friends. Mannie, what are you and Maggie both doing up on the pink floor. We are supposed to be blue so that we can gorge on the feasts tonight. Wow with all the rain. And us with the unusual heat and sun. If only we could have a balance. So cool with Mannie letting you hold him. Maggie loves sitting on my lap but will not stay in bed. Have a great day with DGS and hope there is good weather.

Mannie, I'm all set for tonight, and I'll bring three cheesecakes, two for the festivities and one for you to eat on the bus. :-D I have a BatGirl costume I would like to wear but just need a little help holding it together. What a great menu for the progressive party. I'm about to head down to Camp Stu to get it ready early so I'll have time to get to the desert for the beginning of the party and for Shadow's OTJ party. We don't have snow here (light rain instead), but we will have the waning full moon to admire from the dock and lots of atmosphere. Fishing should be good tonight. Tess made me a Neptune costume, so I hope I'll be green for the parties. I am so excited to be there when the veil gets thin enough to see all our GAs. Chef Stu will certainly be cooking on the Bridge side of the veil, and they will all be there celebrating with us. See ya later!

I hear you don't like to be picked up and loved on. Me neither. I don't like that mushy stuff; I just like to annoy my mom by rubbing all over her head....when I feel like it. Hahaha.
Boy oh boy, I'm sure your mama 'helped' you make that menu....she sure does have a great imagination for the fuds that we kitties love. Ummmm!

What a lovely blue day, and Mannie sitting on your lap - lucky bean! I love that but Leo doesn't do it much. Whenever he's on my lap it's usually when he's on his way from one place to another. Ick on the rain. I hope today is a better day!

I smell the cinnamum infused pumpkin cake now. Actually, the beans are making a gluten free one for a party tonight and it's in the oven. But I know where they hid the "practice" cake - I'll bring it along. The rest of the menu sounds fabulous, I am hungry already. But then, I'm always ready to eat! See you at the curb! I'll try not to poke you with the sword.

I see that Mannie found the blues again, just in time for the party. Way to go Mannie! And such a sweet story on him and the lap. I hope he remembers how warm that it and does it again soon. I love lap cats. cat_pet_icon

Party sounds fun...I'll give Spot a heads up so he can come and hang out with the kitties! He will be excited to see everyone. He yells at me all the time about not keeping in touch with the board folks so that he knows what is going on!

Hi Michelle, So glad we have normalcy in Mannieland and the Blue Mannie Band is in session :-D . Great menus for Shadows OTj party and the Halloween party, Jasper especially loves lettuce and he and "his" civvies are ready and waiting to party, it only looks like napping. Happy Halloween!

In would lie to thank everyone that visited Mannie condo today. I hope I did not miss anyone... sorry comments were so brief....I kept thinking please let me get to everyone before DGS wakes up from his nap. :lol: :lol: And I did, just not as thorough as I would have likes. Nicholas and I had a great time at the pool - another long session: 2 hours. I finally has to frag him out, as it was pat lunch time, he needed a nap etc etc etc..... Due to the length of the time in the pool and a rather long nap we didn't have much time to go anywhere after that. bummer! but he did have fun outside, in the rains, running and playing in my back yard: lots of leaves to toss, pine cones to throw in the little pond, gutters to wotcha as the rains flowed from them It really was a fun day. I will post some photo in Mannie's condo tomorrow.

Hi Carla - Me too! he is so close!! I so agree - loved the lap sit, as it has been a very long time since he has done that. It was great!

Hi guys. Happy Halloween to you. Wow that's quite the menu you have for tonight's party. Chef Stu is so proud of his apprentice I'm sure. I'm sitting here on the computer waiting for the kids to come to the door for their candy. I keep thinking of Tori in her Countess Catula cape and how she always came and sat at the door and greeted all the kids. God I miss her. My boys Rocky and Malachi have caught a moonbeam and have headed out to the party. They wouldn't miss a chance to see their brother and sister tonight for a few minutes. I'm hoping Tori will put Malachi in his place and tell him to quit being such a bully to his brother. She was the boss for sure and wouldn't have tolerated his bad behavior.

My granddaughters have headed out dressed as matching Green lanterns in their matching tutus. They look so cute. Take care.

Great menu....Gracie and Tobey are all dressed in their costumes and ready for the party. Gracie couldn't find a suitable egyptian princess costume so she settled for princess and tobey.....well, you'll have to check it out on our condo :lol: :lol: :lol:

When I was prepping the menu this year I reviews Mannie's condo from Halloween last year. it was his condo that the list of GA's was posted. and I saw Tori listed. What a flood of memories that brought back... I remember the story of her cape and the kids that would come to the door. Mannie is elated to read that Malachi and Rocky will be there - just like old times. this is good. Mannie is looking forward to seeing BJ, who we lost this past december. Isn't the thought of their being able to see all the departed great? I love the thought, the sentiment. -- love too the thought that chef stu is proud of his apprentice. warms my heart. very sweet on your granddaughters... My grandson is a knight this year. --- it is really wonderful to hear fro you!

Sorry I'm so late tonight...this morning...seems everybody/everything was calling my name tonight. Still doing some multi-tasking before getting ready for bed. No wonder I can't sleep when I finally hit the bed - too wound up! It's only 1-1/2 hours until shot time, so may as well try to get some things done instead of sleeping just long enough to make me cranky...
