It's a leg issue week for both cats 😵‍💫 Civvie ran out of the litter box yesterday, as many cats do, her back right leg buckled under her, she slid across the floor and hit the wall and complained while still trying to run 🫣 She has a luxating patella in both knees. She's walking just fine, maybe a little wobbly getting up but that could just be old age. Leroy didn't wobble yesterday and his wound thing is the same.

Sorry about the leg troubles Squeem.

Is general wobbly legs part of getting old for them? I saw Pookey get out of his chair yesterday and kind of stumbled down his cat stairs. It looked like his legs just weren’t warmed up yet from sitting for so long.
 
Civvie is 15 like Leroy, just a few weeks older. She's had the luxating patella for years, probably genetic. The vet has seen the videos where civvie is limping along. Orthopedics confirmed the luxating patella.

Joint issues are like just age related like it is for people. Civvie gets her heating pad most mornings but sometimes she doesn't want it. I figure keeping joints warm can't hurt.
