Guess I should have dressed China up in the shark costume....maybe she wouldn't feel the need to run out there and invite them to our Halloween party tonight!!!
China....tonight is not the night to go shark hunting....Mama's very busy answering the door!! I've had about 80 kids go through here already and it's not even 8pm!!
We have a Safe House at the nearby nursing home too (they usually get about 1000 kids) and a lot of them go out to the neighborhoods once they're done, so it could be a long night!!
Hope my candy holds out!! We used to have a few hundred per night when my kids were young, but then the neighborhood grew up and lots of people moved out, but in the past few years we've had some younger families move back in so it's really hard to know how much to buy! I used to buy about 20 bags (and when the kids petered out, I ended up with a lot of leftover candy) so I finally learned my lesson and started buying less. Only bought one big bag of mixed varieties this year!
That'll teach me to try to plan ahead....LOL
Ya'll make sure China doesn't eat too much at the party tonight....remember, whether she likes it or not, she's on a diet!!! (she DID exercise better today!!....she's had a break so the toys were more interesting I guess)
