Jr. Mint's eating, drinking, peeing, and pooping. When I saw him this morning, and spoke to him, he gave front pawed happy feet. There were spots on the carpet next to him where he laid last night. I'm concerned that the antibiotics aren't helping. There's still a fair amount of leaking, as well as blood in the urine. It's pink, but still a concern. He's on Clavamox 2x a day, and an anti-inflammatory 1x a day. I hope that this clears up rather soon. He goes in for a checkup tomorrow morning. Tomorrow morning can't happen soon enough.

nice amps blackie!! I hope this also clears up soon for jr mint .. I know you are worried about him ... I know it's hard to be patient about an appointment you are waiting for ... but try and have a good halloween, ok?

There won't be any kids coming to knock on this door. We're so rural that everyone goes to town to do that sort of thing. I did splurge and bought a $2.50/bag of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups yesterday, though. That's our yearly treat.

Is there a way you can get some probitics for Jr. Mint? the ABs wipe out all bacteria and we need to replenish the good bacteria in the intestines....some of us use Fortiflora ..maybe your vet will recommend another kind of probitic for him? Some kitties will eat the plain yogurt with active cultures too....

Am keeping an eye on her #'s. Perhaps the vial's petering out, don't know. Or, could be the stress of Jr. Mint being a special needs kitty now. *shrug* Perhaps she's not liking the fact that all of the attention is now divided between her and her son. LOL
