BOO !! :lol:

i'm sure i'm not the first one to say that this morning. (even if nobody else posted it...Heather must have spoken it at least once today.)

it's a rainy start to the Tricky Day here in the NW, and binks is a little moody. with a nice blue amps like this, i'm going to chalk it up to missing spending time with his LL buddies. purring is the only p thus far.

I've had my heart-jolting scare for the day already this morning...after the recent home invasions in the neighborhood, idiot celi had the patio door open anyway, pitch black out...heard a noise behind me and turned to find a face pressed up to the screen not inches away from mine. I yelped and jumped back, only to realize Smudge had climbed up the screen door to greet me. good thing i had used the LB earlier!

beautiful amps for binks, even if he is a bit moody .. hopefully it clears up where you are for the the little trick or treaters out tonight ... have a happy halloween guys!!

:lol: funny screen door story, but I bet it was scarey. home invasions? in your neighborhood? our neighborhood has been invaded by coyotes. saw one this morning when I was outside with the yapper. pretty darn brave for daytime hours. we had an explosion in the bunny population this summer, I'm afraid as long as there is a good food source, the coyotes won't leave.

your boy is off to a good start today. are you going to be home much today or still running a lot? hope the sis is feeling better.

Thanks for the costume delivery. Gabby is contemplating it. Gizmo, however, stole the hat and is running around with it like the crazy kitten he is.

Thank you for all the laughs today, Celi. The screen door story was one of them. :lol: I am very sorry I didn't buy a costume for Blackie yesterday. I guess I'll go look for one on sale tomorrow. :lol:

Celi you are too awesome. How sweet to do all that costume delivering for Binks. No wonder he's green :mrgreen: :mrgreen: Seriously it would have taken me a week to do all that. Jeez I can't even get my AM post up right :lol:

Although that had to be frightening when you read it its too funny :lol: I used to have a kitty that did that at the window so she would be let in. Lost a lot of lives over that. :lol:

The Barefoot Bandit came in our home in Glastonbury CT. SCARY I was sleeping on couch 'cause it was hot it was still dark out. Four kitties sleeping on me and pooch by me on the floor. Heard screen door in garage open "creaaak" all heads turned toward kitchen at same time. Comical now but then EERIE. Pooch stands up and growls I'm holding collar. "Who's there?" I'm not going to check.. I've seen that movie before :lol: Then footsteps retreating "creaaak" screen door again. That week in local paper read about someone who was going into houses tickling people's feet and running out. Didn't take anything. Locked my door after that :lol:

Binks I's so likes my duck costume thanks. :-D Mama bean didn't gets me one cuz she's sik sounds like she has a great big hairball. Sorry yus has rain come here in the bus its nice here. I asked DoLou to saves me a seat in da bus but he's way up on that floor I bounces to and he might forget. In case can you saves me one. I told Mannie I's really cited flip_cat it's my first LL party. I's sleeping now so's I be wide wake tonight. Mannie has a yummy menu. I weely likes mouse. I catches them :twisted: See yus later.

guess i overlooked the home invasion thing...few weeks ago, was up the street at my mom's, heard a big crash, burmese mtn dog throwing fit. booked out front, saw cops with guns...booked right back inside. turned out there was a team casing the hood...they went to mom's house, but she was home, so they smashed out sliding glass door at house next door. their 12 yr old son was inside...had just let their puppy out in yard, so...dig this...ran out back, scooped up the pup, then ran back in and called his dad, who called 911. they busted the creeps...due to that brave little kid. crazy thing was the way they checked to see if houses were empty. first house, cab pulled into driveway. 2nd house, delivering election pamphlets. 3rd house...lawn care service solicitation. mom's house, came to door with clipboard claiming they were process servers looking for neighbors. amazing what devices they use for burglary.

binks surfing blue...all p's in place. he's a little tired from the delivery flurry. :-D

I votes for the emerald green costume for you, Binks...cuz greens is your special color!!! Did you see my costume on our condo? Hopes you like it...mamabean just finished sewing it so she puts it in our condo after you was there. I can't wait for da bus and to see all the kitties in their costumes. Since Moonie is bringing Copper and you bringing the nuns, guess I'll brings Tobey too...he gots a special costume on da condo too!! lubs ya Binks!

Celi....wow...scary stories about the naborhood and highsterical story about Smudge!!! I would have thought a small town in Ideyho would be very safe...what is the world coming to?

I went out to the get paper this morning...uh...well, more like noon and the javelinas had taken big bites out of my punkins!! Now, that wouldn't be so weird except these were fake punkins I bought at Michael's cuz they used to eat the real ones. Oh...I'd have loved to see their little pig-like faces when they tasted styrofoam stuff :lol: :lol: :lol:

Hey Binksy! Those costumes you and your mamabean made for everybody are the cats' meows!! What a wonderful party it is! Have lots of fun and enjoy those magnificent eats that Chef Mannie has planned.

Hey, I'm having fun checking out all the costumes today! Very funny! I hope all the kitties have a great party at Camp Stu's tonight. I read that there is a chance that some of the GA's will be able to come through tonight. If anyone catches a glimpse of Tuscany - give her our love and tell her we miss her!

Celi...I had to go to everyone's condos and look at all the costumes ..you outdid yourself and I can only imagine the time and thoughtfulness you put into this and
into making everyone smile so much today. You are amazing, my friend. :thumbup :thumbup But is it REALLY fair to make me cry on Halloween with all those angel pics esp the one of Stu?? appreciate it, but you're thanking the wrong secret shopper, guys...binks is the one with the discerning eye!
He has such deep caring and appreciation for (and great fun with) the folks who have so generously welcomed us with open arms and hearts to this exceptional community...he wanted to share that glow with everyone. and i'm with you marjorie...the thought of our furbabies having an opportunity to share some time tonight with all of our beloved ones who have gone ahead brightens my soul no end...
although i suspect that they are in much closer contact on a regular basis than we lesser mortals can divine.

binks is puffing out charming little kitty snores on the bed...he's positively worn out from his deliveries and apparently the halloween gathering was a "success non pariel". smudge and annie are snuggled up tight in their little kitty beds also...and i'm wiped out from all the laughter i enjoyed in LL today, so i think i'll join my little fur family in dreamland.

thank you all for an unbelievably fun halloween...sweet dreams everyone!

i'd have to say that this halloween was definitely of the "treat" variety...
