Thanks! I am worried this dose might still be more than he needs but hopefully I can deal with it and just know he may need more carbs to keep him up.

Just saw your post in yesterday's condo. Let's see what he does today. Often a cat that has hit a breakthrough dose will race down the dosing ladder despite skips.

It’s almost time for his +4 so I’ll see how he is and decide if I can take a nap…the night he went below 50 happened at +4…

Of course he started out a lot lower that night he went under 50. Now he’s at 98, so I think I can feed some LC and sleep a few hours and check around 7 or 8? I’m not thinking so clearly but I think that seems right.

Sooo…I was still up at +5 and I took his bg and it’s 66. I wasn’t expecting a 30 point drop in an hour. I think I need to give some MC or do you think HC?

I had been giving LC hourly up until now and he had 2.5Tbs of LC at +4 when I thought I was going to bed…your initial assessment of getting the +5 was right! But I thought with all the food I gave him he’d be ok with his numbers being where they were.

HC twice this hour and going to test at +6. If he is low tomorrow morning though I’m worried about if and what to dose.

Let's take a call depending on what he does tomorrow in the AM - especially if you skip? It's possible he might need more than a 0.25U reduction.

I was doing HC/LC every half hour starting around +5 then fed HC gravy at 7.5 and he maintained 65 at 8.5 so I just fed some more gravy and think I can take a nap for a few hours now. Been taking mini naps in between. He slept with me for awhile, purring on my shoulder.
