Morning.
I lost internet service last night so I was cut off.... :evil: Comcast difficulties I guess. But all night long. :-x
I experimented with shifting beds. At 2 am, I got up to get Shadow's food and carried her to our room. She sniffed the food and went
and laid in the doorway. The standoff begins....
I didn't have my clock but I groped and felt her little shrimpbites treats and quietly got it open and poured a few on the nightstand.
I think she came after another half hour - just as I was about to cave since I didn't want her to "not eat".
She also got in bed beside me, sleeping on the edge but that's progress.
Then this morning, I forgot that I was going to get up to get her breakfast and test and let DH give her some breakfast which she ignored
mostly. She also went and hid under the bed ( the little edge that she can still get under. I sure didn't like that.... That's what she
did when she became diabetic and then again when we started the shots.
So this mornings AMBG might have a little food influence but she always did seem to have a little dawn phenomenon anyway.
I tested again , almost 2 hours later, to see where she was at since her eating has been very sparse this morning and I just gave her that food again with a shrimp cut up to entice her. She ate part of it. :roll:
Tomorrow is DH's actual birthday and our celebration. Yay!
DD has a young man interested in dating her ( she's almost 17) and we need to get the house cleaned up . He wants to come over and ask
her father (and me) for permission to date her. Gotta like that. ;-) He also came and visited her when she was in the hospital.
He's here at the local college too , he was homeschooled and homeschoolers don't get big scholarships. He hasn't decided where he's going
yet but taking advantage of lower tuition and he's learning to drive and isn't trying to escape his family. He's interested in veterinary/genetics. He's the first one she's had any interest in.
Prayers for the east coast, and for Dale and Max waiting for answers.
Also anyone else needing healing and comfort.
