Neko got an extra helping of juice (dosecrease) this morning. Bean's life is becoming less chaotic and I am more able to monitor. And hopefully able to spend more time offering food so she gets more calories in her. Last night I cracked open some MaxCal to syringe, to make sure she got her daily dose of calories. Her appy runs hot and cold. Yesterday I took a short break from volunteering at the regatta, whipped home to offer fuds and medicate (which I forgot to do ) and she ate very well at that point. She also did reasonably well before we headed out to dinner, but not much after we got back.:banghead: It's so frustrating. It is also hard to control how much meds she gets if they are in food. I end up syringing what she doesn't eat on her own.

Other than the food issue, Neko is currently enjoying a day of sunshine in the solarium. I am about to head out and spend the day in the garden. Finally got calm enough water for a good row this morning. But the next week is supposed to be all rain.

Happy Sunday all.

Hi Wendy, I'm glad that you and Neko have everything more or less under control. Too bad the meds aren't all time-release!
How did the high-school regatta go?
How great that you got in a good row this morning. We are hoping for better weather next week so we can get out on the water.

Have a great evening. Halloween tomorrow. Get those sushi knives sharpened, Neko!

Sorry for not visiting much - I'm feeling physically and emotionally drained. I fell asleep on the sofa again. And yes, more syringe feeding. :( IM vet wanted me to try Pepcid for a few days before doing cypro, but I don't think I'm going to wait much longer. At least she had a few good hours in the solarium today.
How did the high-school regatta go?
Wet and cold - we had 136 high school students from 7 rowing clubs. It ran about an hour over time and the rain stopped and blue sky showed up as we were taking down the tents. At least the water was calm and I saw smiles at the awards. The pizza at the end all disappeared.

Tons more :bighug::bighug::bighug:hope Neko starts to eat on her own. Hope you get some rest today :)
