Morning we're back up to sunny yellow, but I have a feeling we will soon be blue! Okay, Mannie my pal, looking so forward to my daily delivery order, and can't wait to see what kitteh barista Mannie ~O) ~O) is making for us today.
Maggie is feeling good and was sleeping on her pink kitty pad when I awoke. It was near the patio, and I always leave the verticals partly opened for her patrol spotting. No sightings of Mrs. Skunkie or little possum. Maggie had good shot, good appy, and is now sleeping on her extra large bed on my sofa, snoozing lightly. I don't expect a poo today unless later Not sure what's on my agenda yet, It's 52 degrees, so I have the heat on for Maggie and me, too.
Thinking of all our friends and pets in the path of Hurricane Sandy and praying for their safety. It is so devastating waching it on CNN and TWC I can't imagine what all are going thru. I checked on all my friends and family on the East Coast and everyone is okay. I have one elderly Aunt in Pittsburgh yet I haven't heard about, but she lives up high on a hill, and I know her son will check on her.

((Ann)) I'm sorry you're worrying! I'm sure many, many beans are worried about that hurricane. Just now I was saying to Sienne how disturbing it is to watch that on the news - it does look very grim. I hope your auntie will be alright!

Thanks Jane, I hope so, too, she's alright. I do tend to be a worry wort! Most of my family and a lot of friends live on the east coast, but not so far east, more inland.

Thanks Melissa, she does tend to start out sunny, then blue and then back to yellow. Zener says blue = yellow + green! :-D

Thanks Dyana, it looks like we're on our way to some nice blues. Hope all goes well with J.D. today and his shot.

Interesting observation with the Arkay Vital meter. If I don't get quite enough blood on the little slidey thingy, I get a wonky number. The first reading the countdown from 5 seconds seemed slow. I got a 217. The second reading I got a good sample blood on the strip and had a 161! Do those of you who use this particular meter notice the same?

Thanks Mary and Oliver for your visit. Maggie is still hunkered down in her bed. I hope she stays sleeping so I can get out and about for a few.

Hi Devon, thanks for your visit. I have a feeling they may have some power outages. I heard something like 6 million people have no power!

Thanks Angela, now if only I could get her AMS and PMPS numbers into blue, but her Nadirs are not bad. I know the meds affect her numbers.

Hi Ann - I hope you get news about your Aunt. We are all fine - lots of damage and loss of power from our circle of family and friends. We'll see the extent of it in the next several days.

I'm like Maggie - I want to hunker down back in my bed for a couple more hours. Was up all night watching the weather channel, texting and FBing family and friends.

GO MAGGIE! Blue it is! Mannie is there too. Looks like the Blue Mannie Group will have lots of members today. It should make for a good jam session in Rusty's barn. ;-) I still LOVE Zener's theory: yellow + blu8e = green. Yes, it does!

And it is only 52? no more heat wave huh. it seems funny in a way to think that the other day you were writing about having the AC on, and now it's the heat. My kitties all love it when the heat is on - BJ used to always sleep on top of the floor vents. She was nice and toasty, stole all the heat, the rest of us were cold. :lol: I don't blame her for snuggling down in that bed this morning. Good choice Maggie.

It is good to read all your friend and family on the east coast are all OK. I hope the same for your aunt. it is good that she has someone who will make sure.

Hi Lisa & Leo, thanks, I learned that my Aunt in Pittsburgh is okay. Her son and wife brought her over to their house. She's 90 and still lives alone and takes care of herself! Glad you are all okay but for the destruction from the storm.

Michelle, please tell my Mannie thanks for the Espresso, heavily bean influenced! ~O) ~O) :-D It was the best, strong just the way I like it! Maggie just may make it for the Blue Mannie Group, except just a bit ago she got into some fuds. :?

Ann, yes, the snuggle down and bring the AMPS is a Maggie special technique! :-D

I'm glad your auntie is ok. I bet she's having fun staying with family for a bit. The storm is a bad reason to have to get together but family fun is so special. 90 and living alone, God bless her little heart. You come from good stock!

Thanks Mary and Oliver, it looks like Maggie fell off her little surfboard! :lol: I think she will get back on this evening. Thank you on my Aunt. We were worried for her living alone and glad she's okay. Isn't that the truth about disasters with family and neighbors. It's what brings everyone together.
I'm glad you got some good help from Marje on the travel.

Tracy, yep, Maggie did fall off the blue bus just now! :lol: and coincidentally close to supper.
