After yesterday‘s vet visit and lab tech event, Ivy slept the afternoon away. Sleeping her gabapentin slumber off. Luckily, she happily ate her dinner and her snacks.

While still sedated I gave her a good solid brushing which she badly needed. She will never let me do that when she is fully awake.

I tried to get a urine sample last night because I need to take it to the vet and she didn’t give me enough.

But, this morning at 5:30 AM since I slept downstairs with her, I heard her go into the box and I was lucky enough to put the cup under her and capture the needed urine.
I will run that over to the vet first thing this morning so we can try to figure out what’s going on.

She had a lower cycle last night, so I stayed close on the sofa.

Hoping today is much calmer than yesterday.

Her stools have been normal since whatever happened on Monday that gave her loose stools

Here she was yesterday happy to be home in her bed and cozy.

Yes, after her spa combing. After dinner and +1 snack Belly full, probably some gaba still in her system

That's a good update to read. Hopefully she's feeling better today. Glad you managed to get that urine sample. I know that can be tricky sometimes. Hopefully it gives you some much needed answers.

She’s been peeing a lot in the past several days. Much more than normal.

No she doesn’t that I can tell. Just peeing more (double her normal amount) and drinking more.
(And there were the loose stools on Monday). Don’t know if that’s related.

It’s good that she’s not showing those types of symptoms but definitely unsettling that she is drinking and peeing more. Really hope it’s nothing serious and that you hear from the Doc soon so you know what’s going on.

I know. It’s really concerning since it’s a definite change
