China came out from her hidey hole, jumped up on my lap and PURRED for me just now!! :):):):):):)

Then she sneezed on my face and kneaded me for a few minutes....other than the sneezing part, that's how she usually tells me she's hungry...and she was!! Didn't eat a lot, but it's definitely a good sign to see her acting more normally and willing to eat without me forcing the issue

Cheaser ate a little breakfast, but hasn't been seen since. I really think he may need to go on the AB too, but after DM sacrificed her doctor appointment for me yesterday so I could stay home with my babies, I really want to get her to her hair appointment today...besides that he's never been in the car and that's a long drive to do again this week so I'm hoping the vet will return my phone call and agree to send me some more Baytril for China so I can use some of hers to start him on

Cleocatra is still sneezing the most out of anybody, but she's still eating fine so as long as she continues to eat well, I'm just adding the L-lysine and hoping her immune system can fight through this thing

Got everybody "steamed" this morning but don't have time to do the afternoon treatment if I'm taking DM to the hair studio, but will try to get another one in later this evening after supper

So sorry to hear about Tennessee...sending lots of heart healing vines to Andrea today.

Well, time to get ready to go!! Hope you're all having a good Friday!!

OT: GO Royals!! Up 2 games to 0 in the World Series but tonight they're in hostile territory...visiting the Mets

I swear by l lysine. When showing active signs,(sneezing, runny eyes) give 500 mg daily. My cancer kitty gets 500 daily since May of 2014 and went from having 4 UTIS a year to none and with cancer none !!! Also, I changed his litter to Dr. Elseys respiratory and noticed sneezing was eliminated.

How wonderful. I'm glad she is showing signs of improvement. I hope the other two do too. Hopefully your vet will work with you on the AB for Cheaser. Sending prayers.

I'm with Ella. Go Mets!

China's definitely feeling better :):):)

Not only did she give me a purr today, she actually showed up at dinnertime and just came when I called her!!

Cheaser ate a little for dinner but I had to bring him to it....he wasn't interested enough to come get it himself...but I was happy to see him at least eat something!

Cleo continues being Cleo...sneezing more than anybody but still willing to eat!!

I'm so happy that they're at least all eating a little...and even more thrilled that they're willing to eat with the L-lysine mixed in...everybody's getting 500mg twice/day until this disease is over and done with....I haven't decided if I'll reduce it to 250mg or just keep it at 500mg yet once everyone's healthy again

As for China's numbers....wish they were improving!! I know...I know....give it some time...patience has never been one of my virtues!

OT: Well the Mets won one...but my Royals are still leading the series!! Don't let 'em get you Royals!!

Well, I'm off to spend the next 45-60 minutes in "the sauna"....better known as my bathroom with the hot shower running!

See ya'll tomorrow sometime! Be good tonight kitties!! Save some energy for the BIG party tomorrow!!!

I'm so glad to see that the three Cs are all showing improvement. You must feel so relieved!!!!

Ahhh, sauna time. Been there, done that, sweated the t-shirt. :joyful: I'm sure Sasha will be providing more of that for me soon.

Nothing wrong with giving 500 mg L-lysine bid - both Cinco and Sasha are on that, by vet's orders. Harvey's on 250 bid, and Minka only gets it in her syringed food as she will not eat when there is ANYTHING mixed in with her food (of course right now she's not eating anything, anyway....).

@Holly and Fudge, I've been using Dr. Elsey's Respiratory Relief for several years now, due to two kitties with respiratory issues. I do think it helps, but it's hard to find and pricier than a lot of other litters.

Sending vines for continued healing for all three kitties and :bighug: for the bean.
