[Condo from 10/23/11]
Well, it's been an entire week since I've posted a condo for Champ. Work has been busy, yes, but I think I justed needed a break from concentrating on all this stuff for a little bit. With everything I do, Champ is always my first consideration... do I need to feed him, do I need to test him, does he look like he's feeling fine, can I get out for a couple of hours to do some shopping, how come he's not eating like he used to. And then the other parts of the day are spent working, updating his condo, working, visiting other condos, working. I guess I just needed to be able to turn off the FD part of my brain for a bit during each day for a little bit. Of course, the day I decided to post his condo again, his numbers are completed whack. I know this is a bounce, and, boy, what a bounce!!!! Last night, he went from a 285 to a 57 in 3.5 hours...I knew today was going to be a doozy!! He's slept all day long which is understandable. We had a bit of a pokefest last night...and the night before...and the night before that.
I made homemade raw cat food on Friday and, let me just say, chunking up chicken is NOT my favorite thing to do. It took 3-4 hours to make and package up 15 days worth of food. However, Champ thinks it's Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners all rolled up into one. He absolutely LOVES it!!! I fed the first meal to him Friday PMPS. Within 15 minutes, he was begging for more. I made him wait for a whole hour before giving him his second mini meal...and then within 15 minutes he was begging for more!!! This went on all night long!!! I'm glad he likes it, but I'll probably enlist my DD to help me cut up the meat next time. And handling chicken livers is completely gross. I threw a piece down to Champ to see if he would eat it and I do believe I've found his new kitty crack!!
Over the last week, I popped on every once in a while to take a look around and see what's going on, but I know I've missed a bunch. I'm going to go visiting now and see how the kitties (and beans) are doing!!
