Hit some high blues last night, but not as good as I thought this dose would do for her. I think the fur shot was horribly timed and probably took the power out of this dose increase. I hope I'm wrong. Let's see what today brings.

Niece is is visiting from out of town for Halloween, woke up to her vomiting, she has one of those little kid stomach bugs, poor thing. Hope it's short lived and that the rest of the house doesn't catch it.

The cycle count starts over with a FS so today is the 4th cycle. Hopefully she'll head on down nicely today. Hope you niece feels better and no one else catches anything.

Asia's nadir was +4 in the AM cycle, she threw a red number at +8 and was down again to almost her nadir by PMPS. now she's dropped 54 points in an hour. It's a blue number, and yay, but I'm afraid she's going to get an even earlier nadir and spend the rest of the night in high numbers. Is there something that triggers drops very early in the cycle and is there something I can do (food wise) to give her more lasting/flat results in the cycle with the insulin? It's seems about 20 points +/- in an hour is about her average and when the drops are larger it means wonkiness ahead.

Taking up her food after nadir seems to be helping with keeping her going way high into PM cycle. I'm trying to understand why this is, because the Rad cat food is almost zero card, so what gives there? Just any food at all can put the breaks on the insulin?

Today looked like a beautiful cycle. A little food spike at +1 then at +3 when Lantus usually has it's onset, ( she hiked up a bit for +4 but, maybe you had fed her a bit after the +3?) And then came back down a bit.
