Yesterday Cabergoline Day 25

Full unit reduction in board since last night. Let's see what she will do with it.

Have to call vet to make her 1 month follow up. I know Dr is doing fructosamine as a marker. Then she said will decide if anymore after that will be needed. I will ask for full labs including GI and SDMA as long as Olive has to be stuck might as well do it all.

Last night sitting watching tv, heard mouse running in attic. DH resetting traps this morning.

HA! He was busy down in the basement this AM. A mouse must have been hiding between some boxes on the floor and he had his nose stuck into the cracks and wasn't even interested in coming up for breakfast.

ETA: DH set up some traps in the crawl space.

We get the field mice all the time. Just glad they are in attic or basement.

Curious to see how Olive will react to the full unit reduction. Pretty exciting to see her progressing so rapidly.
Hope field mice learn to stay in the field, where they belong.

So far she is allowing me to get stuff done.

Mailed out fox fur cape to wildlife rescue and rehab. They make beds and snuggle sacks for orphaned fur babies. Just didn't want to throw it out. Don't think my mother ever used it. It was just the status of having a real fur. Such a shame, but it's how it was in the 60's.

What about a urinalysis? I wish I had gotten one last bw. It seems the vet always wants one the week after I have traumatized him

One was done 3 weeks ago. I don't know if I want to put her through another cysto so soon. I will try for regular ua but she doesn't cooperate.
