10/3 Tigger AMPS 347; 2.25U

This morning's AMPS for Tigger was 347, gave him 2.25 units. My boy seems to be staying in the 300s but I'm giving him another few days on 2.25 and will increase to 2.50 starting this weekend if his numbers don't start improving. I can do a curve when I'm home either Saturday or Sunday.

Mornin'. I would increase tomorrow morning and then do your curve this weekend. That way it gives time for the depot to fill and you'll get a better picture by the weekend. You will have held 2.25U one week and with numbers in the 300's you want to start getting them down. I don't think its necessary to stay at 2.25 U any more than one week. Hope that makes sense. Thanks @Beenie. Do you think that an increase of .25 is enough that it would cause a sudden drop? I'm just asking b/c I won't be home.

I don't think so but cats sometimes surprise us. If you're more comfortable wait until the weekend when you can monitor. Then going forward you can do all your increases Sat morning when you can be around to monitor.
