Nice easy start for the day have a great paddle!

Love the greenhouse, they did a great job. I bet it would be a great place to sit on sunny winter days too.

Looking good, Rusty! Could you come over and do some mouse hunting? T & Z are not as diligent as they need to be. The greenhouse is fabulous. Fresh herbs are the best. :-D

Hi again,
Thanks for visiting Rusty, who apparently decided that he should go up today instead of down. He missed his beans. He finished his breakfast, but apparently "turned off" and slept through his lunch and +8 snack. Anyway, when we returned home he got his combings (one from Edward, one from me), looked around outdoors while we were taking the boats off the car, and had a good shot this evening. He's waiting for us to come down to watch TV. I am so tired I'll probably fall asleep.

We had a beautiful paddle today: 9 miles on the Cedar River Flow and the Cedar River--a remote area in the central Adirondacks. The autumn color was just beyond peak, but still very vivid. We saw a flock of resting Canada Geese on their migration, 2 loons, a trout, a kingfisher, and a snake. I drove 150+ miles today, paddled, got too much sun, and am wiped out this evening.

A couple of pics. We paddled through high grasses, kind of like the "African Queen".

Wow! Awesome photos! Sounds like an amazing day.

Rusty's cycle, not so much. Oh well, there's always tomorrow. That greenhouse does look wonderful. I bet it'll a warm and toasty place for Rusty to hang out in the sun.

Your photos are beautiful - what a great paddle. The autumn colors are beautiful.

I will hope for a good surf today for Rusty, lots of blues with a spattering of green. Go for it Rusty!
