Yesterday's vet visit and lots of green

Good evening all . . . not surprisingly after the greens last night Papaya bounced waaaaay up for this morning. Actually when she was already at 119 by +6 last night I figured she was zooming up. She drank a lot of water this morning which she rarely does, but as usual for Papaya the high numbers don't last long. This PM she is very purry and playful . . . so I'm thinking it is not the time to have another go at brushing her teeth if I want to keep all my fingers. Maybe if she's very mellow later I'll see if I can get a different tooth brushed today than yesterday :-D

Thinking of Mariko's Lucy & hoping she is feeling better soon . . .

I guess with the tooth brushing, you have to do this noxious thing all the time. Sort of like testing.
I think our cats are so amazing, loving and wise to tolerate us.

Lara - so true. I am constantly amazed by how calmly Papaya tolerates so much when there seems to be no good way to explain to her why I am doing it.

Liz - I saw my vet's was promoting brushing pets' teeth a while ago, and I thought to myself "fine, if I sometime have a younger cat I will get it in that habit from the beginning" but hadn't seriously considered starting on Papaya. So thanks for the link!! Very helpful steps. I'm not sure that she's very impressed with the taste of the toothpaste but I'll try starting to get her accustomed to it.

Thank you, Amy, for mentioning and thinking of Lucy.
She is doing much better.

I'm glad Papaya is purry and playful!!
I bought a kitty tooth brush that you can wear on your finger, sort of like finger sack.
This definitely would NOT be for Papaya!!!
