Yesterday we started pink, almost got down to lime, and finished pink. If not for these pinks at AMPS and PMPS, we would be looking good on this dose.

All of this bouncing is making it difficult to decide what to do. It seems like we bounced less with higher doses (around 1.25u), but we're dropping almost 300pts during the day with .5U. We'll probably get a lime green soon, so things will get more complicated if we're down to .25 and still bouncing like this.
 
Yes, we have the same problem here with the yellow bookends... I hope Luna will give up those pinkies soon!

It's crazy. But other than the yellows, your numbers are looking pretty good. Not the crazy fluctuations like Luna is giving me.

It's hurting my brain to think how that would even work. If you reduce down to a few drops and it's still bringing limes, do you stop insulin even if AM/PMPS are still high?

I test a lot. If you tested more often, you might find out when she's headed down...and steer her a bit. We do a lot of steering here....otherwise Luci would drop from her yellow perch right into the shark nest - that's just how she rolls...

Edit: Today is a good example of testing to catch the drops...Luci dropped around 100 points from AMPS to 2+; time to set the alarm and feed her LC; next test she's still dropping; bring out a teaspoon of MC mixed with LD; next test, still dropping...another tsp of MC. So that's my example of steering...and yes, I have to hop up from my work to grab those tests...I just don't want her catching me off guard with a low green or worse a lime green...too soon for another decrease as that for us is the road to complete failure...

Please try to get some additional tests at 2+, etc on Luna so you can steer her if needed.

Turned out to be not a completely high day. Getting down to blue at +8 when we were 302 at +4 is pretty good. She's trying to fight off these bounces. MAYBE we'll finally see a good night instead of bouncing and finally break this cycle...?
 
This was a weird day. I thought we would see the typical bounce and be high all day or at least come back up before PMPS, but she cleared it and kept dropping. It seems like her body is trying to do something these days. Could be an interesting night
 
Be certain to get a +1 or +2 and a +3 to see which way she is headed.
Do not necessarily go by the +1, Dan, as it may be food influenced.
 
Luna is lucky to have such a great dad! I am up tonight too -- Phoebe Squeak just hit 69 on Alphatrak (68 is take action number) so I'll be reducing to .75 tomorrow. She really wants to be like her idol Luna!
