I dunno.... anybody willing to order and see what you get? They say that since Wacky Wednesday was so wacky that they wants to give all kitties some fun times today, triple funs! so. well. anyways. ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and Double shot Breve's, with beans from high in the Brazilian Mountains.... and for my mocha fans: a VENTI Quad Blueberry infused white mocha/mocha blend with white chocolate chips melted within, swirled with a raspberry puree, topped with a strawberry infused whip garnished with caramelized berry sprinkles and white chocolate curls and a caramel drizzle.......SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of 4 berry and vanilla and caramel swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with caramel and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts are complimentary!

I hope everyone had a great day yesterday. Ours was the best! Me and William and Nicholas had the best of times! We enjoyed another one of Nicholas's extra special Breffis's. We swam, we took mom to lunch, we played at a children's museum, and we napped. Well the one boy napped, the one who needed to, aka Nicholas, didn't.  Pool was a late swim time slot, it went ok for the most part. The lack of a nap took it's toll... here's what I wrote in last night's post: "Hi everyone. Sorry for the late update. It has been along, but very good day. We have been to a Children's Museum, Red Robin and finally the pool. PHEW! I am tired... duh! The Kids Museum is one that Nicholas has been to before, and is geared younger kids. He had such a good time. They have renovated it, and things that had problems are all working well now. He is a huge train fan, and it was nice to go today and not have that area be busy, so he could really get into playing and building trains. The water instruments had also been repaired, so he was able to once again work those. A very successful day there. So successful in fact he wanted to skip lunch with mom, and stay there.   William seemed taken in by the place: lots of activity, he was wide eyed the whole time there. We decided to take the boys mom out to lunch, since her work is so close to the museum. Off to Red Robin for us. :-D YUM! Good burgers, lots of fries and the spicy tomato dipping sauce for the fries that was really good. I gotta figure out ho to make it. :-D Swim time was set for very ate in the afternoon as I couldn't find anyone to watch William. So once he was with mom and dad Nicholas and I headed off to the pool. He was so excited to be going. Only issue was his lack of nap, and that that the big pool is used for lessons at that time. The no nap and the no big pool won out in the end: a minor meltdown when things weren't as the thought they should be. Poor kid! We will try this time slot again in a week or so, and hopefully that time he will have napped. We did get about 20 minutes in of fun pools stuff, so I think next time will be better, as he will now what to expect." Picassa links: KidsQuest, Red Robin, and Swimming

Normalcy in MusketeerVille!   I remember writing about this a week or so ago, and it still rings true. I thought about it yesterday as Lola met Nicholas at the front door when he arrived. There are a few things about Lola that remind me of Mannie... Bug really is more like Mannie in his disposition, but Lola is the one that comes and meets and greets Nicholas and William when they arrive in the mornings. Lola is taken with Nicholas. She seeks him out, plays with him, tries to eat his breffis, well mainly the butter on the waffles  , plays with trucks and trains  , just puts up with all of Nicholas's wild chases through the house.  It is kinda nice to see. :-D  Elsa still hides, Bug is checking him out more and more, but seems more taken with William. Maybe because he doesn't chase him... yet....  Lola was a semi-good kitty yesterday, for the most part. She was into high things: walking the banister railing, sitting on the frig door, visiting me in the shower by sitting on top of the shower door. Normalcy for Lola, Normalcy for all the kitties. Bug and Elsa are still into their "it's Fall" pack, and bed sleeping rules the roost for them. Except when it is marathon running time, then no holes barred!  Lola did manage to knock over most of the lamps yesterday. Aiyee!

Have a great day everyone! I will have both boys again today. I hope to be able to go to a river, or maybe a sandy beach here if the tides are low enough. We shall see what pans out. I still hope to get Nicholas and William up to the Skykomish River to see the salmon run. The weather is supposed to be sunny and 50/55, and sunny. Gotta be outdoors for that! I will try and get to condos when I can.

KITTIES! Remember: think BLUE, think GREEN!! cat_pet_icon

What a fun day yesterday! Museum, swim, and dipping sauces! Who could want anything more! :-D
I love that Lola likes her high perches ~ must be nerve-wracking while showering, though (Don't fall on me!). Good thing she has great balance. ;-) Oh, and the lamps?!? Did she think they looked better on their sides? Silly goose.

I can only imagine the thoughts that go through Elsa's and Bug's minds as they observe their sister...

Enjoy your day, Michelle!! ☼

Morning Josie ~O) ~O) ~O) Yupp, it was a good one yesterday. Loved it all, even the minor melt down in the pool. one tired boy... Me too on Lola, she's the first cat I have had that likes and uses the high places, kinda fun. LOL on the shower! My thought too. Silly goose says it well. ;-) One does wonder what Elsa and Bug think of it all. I imagine alot of eye rolling.... THX on today.

The Children's Museum sounds fun. Little boys sure love those things. I'm glad it was all up and going. Yay for Red Robin! I love that place. William is getting so big. Alert, smiling, etc. It made me think of when Nicholas was at that stage. Gosh how time flies!!

Lola is a card. What a good girl, other than the lamps. :? Have a great day Michelle!!

Paws crossed the weatherman was right today and you can take the boys to the river. I think all your days w/ the boys are good, no matter what you do.

Isn't it great to have a kitteh who just makes you laugh watching her? And I think she does think they look better on their sides, no accident there! cat(2)_steam

That's neat that Lola has taken to Nicholas and Bug to William. Hopefully it will stay that way so they both have a special kitty. I hope you found someplace fun to be in the nice sunny weather today.

HI everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. Mine was fantastic! I elected to take the boys up to the river where I saw the salmon run a week or so ago, in the hopes that they would still be there, and that Nicholas could see something that wonderful up close. The weather held for us too. We didn't have sun, but it didn't rain, good enough for me, and Nicholas. William doesn't seem to mind one way or another. I decided to take the boys up to Index, down the Galena-Index Road to the site of the washout, and roads end, as the river took reclaimed the road a few years ago It's about 5.8 miles from the bridge into Index. It is where I saw all the salmon before, and thought it would be good, since he can get in the water with them. They are pinks btw. The fall colors are really starting to come in up there too. WOW - pretty! The river was really fast today, up maybe a foot or so, due to all the rains we have had I guess. Nicholas had such a good time, and was so excited to be in that river with the fish. Such squeals of delight when he saw them move. That aspect was wonderful. He was so funny though - so taken back by the one dead one along the river bank. He kept talking about how sorry he was that the salmon was dead. ;-) I explained to him about the road washout and the road was no more. Showed him where he could see the road further down, in the middle of the river. That was a huge hit: "road was broken, river was on the road, took it away!" too funny. Over and over again about the broken road and that I had better not drive there.   Anyways - a awesome day for him - he loved the fish. To be in the river with him, have them swim by his feet: an experience I hope he remembers. We were lucky, in his opinion, to see 5 trains pass by on those tracks that parallel Hwy 2 too. He described today as "this is my lucky day" Yes Nicholas, that it was. A very good time. And William? slept through most of it.

Hi Melissa - It is a decent museum, chaos for the adults, but lots of fun for the kids. He really enjoys the place. Me too on Red Robin! I had the OctoberFest burger - really good. YUM! Yes on William,a dn I find him to be alot like Nicholas when we go to these places: always alert, looking, taking it all in. I so know on the time flies comment. yupp on Lola. always something with her, fun, but sometimes: WOW! and you did what?

Hi Ann - YUPP! We made the river!!!! It was just the best thing ever - I so hope he remembers the day he was in the river with the fish. It was just so cool. i too believe thou are right - all the days are good. it is all in how you present what you are doing, allow them to experience it, and reap the rewards. good stuff! LOL on the kitties - I do agree with that. She does make me laugh, smile alot, and she can also be very affectionate. Probably true on her thinking the lamps look better on their sides!

Hi Carla - Oh yes - on the kitties and the boys. They seem to have their favorites. I hope it stays that way too. and yes on today! off to the river I have wnated to takes him too all week. We finally made it. :-D

Hi Michelle,
That sounded like a really fun day, and such a full day. No wonder even the Fish was tired in the late afternoon! (and Grammie? was she tired??).

Glad you got to the river today. The salmon run must have been something very special to see.

The kitties are really enjoying their home, that's clear. Neat that they take so well to the boys. Lola is fearless! Bug is circumspect. Elsa knows what's what and deals with it!

Have a great evening. Sorry I missed your condo yesterday.

Ella & Rusty

HI Ella - It really was a good one, a it rushed and really busy, but GOOD. Oh so true on his being tired by late afternoon, grammie was on her last legs too! OH YES on the river, and the salmon. It was so cool! To be that close is just the best thing, Nicholas loved it. I so agree on all you said on the kitties. It's their home now for sure. YUPP: fearless Lola. silly cat! I lie your descriptions of the cats: all true. and no worries on the condos - I know how it goes. I can barely get to them sometimes....

What wonderful memories Nicholas will have with you! In a river with salmon swimming by his feet, can't get more special than that. Add in trains, a washed out road, and it is a little boy's dream!!

Love to hear about all the different personalities of your kitties :-D Makes life more interesting

Jane
