Good Monday morning LL! Continuing to send our thoughts and prayers to Boris and Fiona and especially Fiona today for her surgery; also Tableau and Emily, Claudia and Rocket, Zoe!!!
Another love bug morning with our sweet baby girl. Since Teddi crossed, Gracie has been sleeping on the hammock condo in one of the guest rooms.....not sure why. She came to bed with us last night, gave Mike's head a liberal bath   and then decided she had other Gracie things to do. When I go in to see her in the morning, she is just about the purriest, headbuttingest thing you've ever seen. I was a little late on her shot this morning because I wanted to give her the extra attention and then I did a redraw.
I am totally flummoxed by her numbers lately. She's never had a six-cycle bounce on lev but I'm crossing my fingers that that is all it is. She did get pretty low and stayed in the 40s for a while so perhaps her liver just had enough. Sixth cycle tonight....we keep thinking she is trying to break but she's been pretty flat. I still have to wonder if I got a bad box of pens...time will tell.
Yesterday I went to our wonderful nursery as I wanted to buy a lavendar passionflower plant for Teddi....which I did. But they also had these absolutely gorgeous yellow mini roses they had just gotten in and so I bought two of those and a really pretty pot. I put the roses on the catio for Teddi as she had gotten to where she enjoyed going out there again and hunting for bugs....I don't know where she found the little webs since we vacuum out there all the time but she'd come in with stuff on her whiskers
I think the roses will do well there as they get some nice sunlight but not direct. Despite Gracie's bounciness into yellow, it does remain my favorite color ;-) I'm going to put the passionflower on a pot trellis on the back patio so I can enjoy the flowers there. The lilies my DBFF brought us have opened and they are absolutely stunning but they were cut so I don't think I can pot them. Wish I could....esp because they have been outside so the kittens don't eat them (very toxic). I also found some really gorgeous frames and put her picture next to Max's on my nightstand....a friend is an amateur photographer and he had taken this really adorable photo of her which they sent to us in a sympathy card.
Amidst everything last week, we had the driveway done (stained) and right after it barely dried, it rained so they are having to redo it today. It really looks nice, though. We went with that instead of the brick because tearing out the driveway to lay brick was just a bigger mess than we wanted to get into; the guys that did the pool deck are doing the driveway and they do great work.
Have a nice day everyone.
