viewtopic.php?f=9&t=105606 Yesterday's Condo

Her BG is higher this am, but I am going to wait it out till tomorrow, since I will be home for the weekend to monitor if I do restart the insulin.

I tasted the clindamycin (sp) and YUCK :!: Truly horrible. Cleo will really be avoiding me now. I was hoping to get a +2 test, but unless she comes out from under the bed, I will leave her be.

She is acting normal, ate well this am (forti flora on top of food), peeing IN LB, but no poo since she is home. She did pass a little gas, so I know her gut is not right. She has to be on this AB for 10 days. Hope we can handle it. The clavamox gave her pudding poo. I will drop off the RX for the benazepril today, and should be able to pick it up tomorrow.

I also noticed yesterday, the dandruff is back in her coat. Now that her dental is over, we will get her back on track!

Hope everyone has a wonderful Fursday! Healing/appy to those in need, hoping the mouseketchers did their job neatly!

Re: 10/3 Cleo AMBG 168

I hope Cleo's BG comes back down on its own and you don't need the insulin. Hopefully the fortiflora will help her tummy while she's on the AB.

Re: 10/3 Cleo AMBG 168

I hope Cleo's tummy feels better soon.
Isn't it amazing how quickly dandruff appears when she's feeling 'off'? Ripley's coat is the same way ~ sometimes she'll have a dandruff 'flare' for a day or 2, then back to soft and shiny.

Re: 10/3 Cleo AMBG 168

Hi Jane - glad the dental went well and she didn't need any extractions. Hoping her bg comes down and she doesn't hold it against you for giving her the yucky meds.

Hope you guys have a great day!

Re: 10/3 Cleo AMBG 168

Hi Jane,
Good luck and hoping for lower BG's for Cleo and she gets feeling better soon :YMHUG:

Tonight, I can tell that Cleo is feeling punky. These high numbers are not agreeing with her. She appears her almost 16 years old.
.
Appy is good, she did her first poo since dental, and it was firm. She is just sleeping a lot. I think her body will be glad for the insulin. I can't wait to see her feel better again!

I picked up the Benazepril and will start tomorrow night. I tried putting it in a pill pocket, but she just looks at it like I am feeding her rubber. :-D Hope this liquid tastes semi-good to her!

Thanks again for all the positive thoughts - we really appreciate them.

Night LL

Hi Jane,
I am sorry that Cleo isn't feeling so well today....
But it's great she pooped and her appy was good!
Lucy thinks a pill pocket is a rubber too!

Sending lots of feel better vines to Cleo.
I hope she'll feel better tomorrow.
