Hopefully she will just paddle around in the pool today heck today I wouldn't care if she sun bathed as I am so tired I can't see straight. We had a storm go through starting about 1 a.m. and ending about 3a.m. that dropped 5 inches of rain. Of course Maxwell freaked out, I swear he has ptsd when it comes to storms but I can't blame him since he is a Katrina cat.

Basement as water in it today so gotta go set up fans down there to get it dried out. Then if I'm lucky get a nap before I fall over.

Aw poor shaking scared Maxwell. I had one like that - a long time ago. Broke my heart to see him so scared.

Hope everything drys out and you can get some rest.
 
Finally got everything dried out and got to fall over for about 3 hours of a nap, not nearly enough but at least I can see straight again.

I wish all Maxwell did was shake during a storm. He completely flips and alternates between trying to be my second skin to flying through the house crashing in windows and walls. I usually end up having to tuck him under a towel or blanket and turning on a fan or radio loud enough to wake the dead to calm him down.
