I found a small hairball this morning as well as a very large poop. He's finally back to eating very well again. It's unfortunate he had a hairball, but it was a whole month between now and his last one which is an improvement. With his better appetite, i've been back to adding in egg yolk powder to his food.

It's unfortunate he had a hairball, but it was a whole month between now and his last one which is an improvement. With his better appetite, i've been back to adding in egg yolk powder to his food.

All of mine are getting the egg yolk now, too. Hairballs aren't a big issue, but long-haired Harper occasionally gets them, as does Hazel. I'm hoping the egg yolk will offer some good benefits.

I was previously using that brand also but I just looked at their website the other day and it looks like they are selling their stock at a greatly reduced price.
I can’t figure out what’s going on. Do either of you know??

Hmm I purchased the 1lb container in mid September at the same price its showing on sale right now

It looks like they have a sale going on on the egg yolk—down to $20 from $34. I don’t recall what I paid before—probably the $34. Is the non-sale price a lot lower, @Staci & Ivy?

I just thought $15 reduced price was odd.

One thing I notice about that product is that it has a short shelf life--like, my container is set to expire in December (but with all of mine on it, I'm fairly certain they will consume all of it by then). Perhaps that is why they are clearing their supply? Just a guess.
