we're sure having the crazy numbers for punkin - this amps is 100 less than yesterday's am/pmps, and yes, the lowest he's had in quite a while. i'll monitor. i held the dose anyway - his nadir yesterday was around 200 although he no doubt was lower in last night's cycle.

let the DH sleep in this morning - i'd had too much caffeine yesterday and was awake anyway. so it took longer for me to get everything ready, but fortunately, punkin was my cheerleader through all of it. he cracks me up with his purr purr meow thing while his food is getting ready. scarfed down his food, then cleaned anya's plate also. where would she be without him!?! certainly not a member of the Clean Plate Club!

i have the dose of bupe sitting next to me so i don't forget to give it to him. have no idea if i'm getting it in him right or not - i can't say i'm seeing any result of him having it.

anya has gotten hold of a feather wand and is dragging it through the kitchen. the noise became irresistible and punkin's gone to check it out! oh the excitement never ends here! :lol:

My kitchen is full of slurpies and purrs from Miss, but Phoenix doesn't know what to make of me up in the AM and is yowling. :shock: Could you have Punkin tell Missy her numbers are supposed to drop after being shot!!!

Very nice PS number for Punkin. Morgaine could take him in a clean the plate race. Unfortunately for her, she is an only so no one's plate to finish off but her own.

hahaha wouldn't that be fun to set an identical plate down in front of all the kitties at once? anya would hang back to watch and punkin would have hers and as many others as he could get to slurped down in a few minutes.

he's got a perfect little surf going for an acro cat - 90's are just right for him.

an overcast day and the DH is going to watch the Oregon State football game on tv in a while, so we're off for a walk first. i'm getting porky sitting around with cats! :lol:

interesting little bit of info i saw this morning that was new to me - i was googling re: glucosamine and found that people whose cats had chronic cystitis or UTIs without bacterial infection had great success with the glucosamine. the lining of the bladder is "fortified" by the glucosamine. same dosage as for joints - 1 capsule/day for under 10lbs and 2 for 10lbs +. we started punkin on it about a week ago - can't tell yet if it's making a difference.

I agree with Ann.....Punkin has been looking pretty good lately. Not the flat Punkin of old!!!

What fun in the morning!! Punkin helps Anya keep her svelte figure :lol: :lol: :lol:

Yes, that's why we give Tess Cosequin. The ER vet last December recommended it when she had a UTI and she hasn't had a problem since. She used to have accidents while she slept. Now I can just enjoy watching her sleep and not worry about getting a pee pad under her. :roll:

Julie thanks for the info about glucosamine. I thought I saw a couple of members discussing that earlier but I forgot about it.
I'm going to try it for my daughter's kitty (that I somehow inherited.) :lol:

Punkin's looking mighty fine today!

I started Morgaine on Cosequin this week after being concerned about a UTI. She has been going to the LB often and peeing smaller than normal amounts. I also noticed a couple of wet spots on the rug where she was sitting. She is not drinking more so I was thinking it could be bladder related. She's been checked for bacteria and its been negative. Also, she is 13 so it can't hurt to strengthen those joints. Glad to hear others use this. I just started so we shall see but i notice that she slows down her trips to pee for several hours after her dose.

Question?: Julie, do you give the 2 capsules at once? I have been dosing 1 capsule twice a day for Morgaine who weighs 14 pounds.

Thanks for the Cosequin info in our condo earlier. I also read the reviews at Amazon. Hopefully they are legit. I think most are.

I am going to start giving Morgaine both capsules at once next time I dose her.
