Good Morning LL
(LOTS! I just love
), and Happy TUNA Tuesday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! Today is TUNA TUESDAY!!! In honor of Tuna Tuesday, once again Lola and Bug, aka Paw Prints Pizza, will make their famous triple tuna pies, with tuna and nip infused crust, tuna toppings, and now triple tuna infused cheese. YUMMMMMMMM! It's tradition!, and these pizza pies totally rock! As a side benefit we have TUNA WATER too! so. well. anyways.
Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot espresso, beans from the heart of central Ethiopia. and for my mocha fans: Venti Quad orange and vanilla mocha, laced with orange swirls, topped with chocolate whip, garnished with orange zest, slivered vanilla beans and chocolate swirls....SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of orange and vanilla and chocolate swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with crystallized oranges and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts are really good today too!
I hope everyone had a great Monday. Mine was great. It felt odd though not to have the boys yesterday. After a month of the revised schedule I was kinda on auto -pilot, expecting to go and get them yesterday... even though it's been a week I still got up thinking: Boys! ;-)  They will be back Wednesday, and that will be here soon enough. I was able to go hiking yesterday. The weather was extra nice, a perfect fall day: sun, temps in the low 50's. That makes for great hiking weather. Here's what I wrote last night about yesterday: "Hi everyone! I hope you ave had a good cheery cherry monday. Mine has been great. I did amke it hiking, just not the one I had planned. I had intended to go to the North Cascades, but after reading several reports of icy roads, too many accidents, roll over vehicles, I decided that maybe that wasn't the place for me, and onto my backup plan: Off to Skykomish, and Iron Goat. I have second guessed myself all day.... maybe I should have done SR20 and the Cascades. There were clear blue skies, and those mountains would have been stupendous. oh well... I am content with what I did today. It was so nice there. I made trailhead at dawn, and was able to watch the sun come up over the mountains. Was that ever nice. It has been a while since I have been able to make a mountain sunrise. Awesome. Hike was good too. I have always enjoyed this one. We had sunny skies, cool, at maybe 42/45, and the RR history there is incredible. There's something to be said for being able to walk the path that trains did back in 1893, see the things built in 1910, 1914. darn cool. There is section where you can still see the spikes in the ground. Anyways - a ton of fun. I logged 15.2 miles today, and did not tire.
Freaking cool huh. : ) I climbed maybe 990 feet. Most of those miles are relatively flat, what with it being an old RR grade. So.... perhaps I did make the right choice today. Who knows, but it did work out well."

The kitties have been good kitties today - even Lola. Fancy that! Could this be a new leaf? Nah.... she's probably just planning the next mischievous romp.  On my return trip yesterday from the trail I wondered what would greet me at the door, as I knew I was a few minutes late: 8 as it turned out. So.... I opened the door, expecting foot stomping squinty eyed kitties. And... there was NO ONE!   Sheshhhhhh.... what happened to my welcoming committee? Bug showed up within 30 seconds. Good Bug! Lola and Elsa were MIA until I called for them. I told them all that the Blood Oath, about my never ever be late, was now null and void. Funny, they all gave me their back side and sauntered into the kitchen, and began a chorus of "feed me!" so I did.  I guess that blood oath only applies to one late human.... Silly cats. YUPP! Normalcy in MusketeerVille!
