10/29 J.D. Vines Needed - going to ER - update all good

Yesterday's Condo

J.D. got his fluids at about +5 last night.

He still does not want to go for a walk. He did poo a small poo last night. Please keep sending vines to him, and to Ginger as she now has diarrhea too.

I'm late for work.

Sending tons of wonderful poo vines for both J.D. and Ginger. I hope that they make a full and speedy recovery. J.D.'s #s are looking good this morning. I really hope that he sufs nicely in lower #s for you today and every day. Hang in there, Dyana. :YMHUG:

When I went home mid-day he had pooed a bunch. He was walking around the house, slowly, but didn't want to walk outside. And still didn't tonight. Maybe I over walked him this past weekend. Or maybe he got a tummy ache with the diarrhea or it was the Mirtz. I didn't give him any more today. I was going to give it every other day, but I am just going to let things settle for a bit.
I am exhausted from being up last night, so am planning to hit the hay early and set alarms to given him his 3rd feeding.

J.D. jumped up on the couch and crawled across me and then was doing some purring and looking up at him I could see he was doing some open mouth breathing. Please pray for us.

I'm not sure which hospital to go to. There are three around here, and I've always gone to the one that has been here the longest. They said maybe I could monitor him and see if his breathing improves during the night and take him to my regular vet tomorrow.

I told her I'm bringing him in anyway. He jumped off the couch while I was on the phone, went to the litter box to poo and nothing happened, and now is at the water bowl, and now is by the bedroom. His breathing is better, but that open mouth breathing scares me, so I'm off.

Hi dyana

I hope J.D is doing okay. Forgive if this is information that has already been given elsewhere but has J.D been diagnosed with pancreatitis or anything else? When my remi was in a lot of pain from pancreatitis he began to breath through his mouth.

Thinking of you both.
