I opened a new box of syringes where the zero line is more "normal" and went back to the f1.00 dose last night. I'll save the "off" syringes for his Adequan, which he got today.
It is pretty scary outside. At +5, J.D. and I went for a walk in the snow when it was just starting.
Just before +7 (12:50pm), I thought I would try out my new used car in the snow and get to the bank, which is only 1/2 mile down the street and closes at +7 (1:00pm). There was already 3 inches of snow on my car. It did okay. I have to get used to it. We arrived at the bank 10 minutes later (only 1/2 mile!) and the bank had just closed.
About 40% of the trees still have leaves on them, and when I got back from my trip (probably 20 minutes later), there were branches down everywhere. The poor trees  We have such beautiful maples and whatever they are, and a huge one that looks so mangled right out front.
On the way to the bank, I thought I saw Mama (squirrel), and rolled down my window and called to her, but she (if it was her) didn't turn to look at me. When I got back from my venture to the bank, I then "had" to go get peanuts out to the squirrels. I tried to avoid going under trees  I put peanuts here and there under the pine trees, and had just crossed the street to where I saw Mama, and was calling for her, and I looked up to see cardinals flying around the bushes and right there 25 feet in front of me, just staring at the crazy lady, was a doe. It was neat. I love the snow, but, today is bad timing.
J.D. and Ginger have been restless, all morning. J.D. was banging the bell on the front door this morning, to go outside. Gingerdoes not like hates to get her feet wet, so it was just me and J.D. on that first stroll. Now, I'm afraid to take him out there because of all the tree branches just waiting to break. So, I have been keeping them occupied with treats.
I'm praying no more branches come down and the electricity stays on. J.D. is currently taking a little nap on the couch.
