Well...

Another tiring night.

But DoDo's AMPS was 148 which surprised me because I thought we would have had more bouncing.

I opted to give him 1.00unit since the last time I didn't give an unit we kept going up and up and the next morning's shot was pretty high.

Other than that-- he keeps loosening his stitches on his e-tube so the vet may have to do another touch up for that.

So I am going to change some things up-- because I think the lunch is helping but I am also thinking it is helping his sugars go up significantly too. So-- I think I am going to tinker with maybe spreading his insulin shots at each meal into 3...

I am not sure I know what else to do.

Re: 10/29 DoDo AMPS: 148 1.00u

as i said in your other thread...WOW.
thanks for the subject title. and you can just add +'s to that if you don't have time or anything really to say.

Do you mean you are going to try shooting TID? Not sure I understood right. If you do, be sure you always shoot on a rising #. Many cats IMO aren't quite ready for another shot at +8 since PZI often does last a decent amount of time. Also I think people start by taking the 24-hour dose total and dividing by 3 rather than by 2 to get the per-shot dose. Not 100% sure, and I have never had great success with early shooting beyond a few good results here & there. It can be quite stressful. Basic rule though is always do a rising # check before shooting to be certain you are past nadir. Both Michelle & Pru & Hope & Aria I think did TID for a while with great success, so you may want to check out their SSs for guidance (I think both are in the Recent Remissions thread up top, so links should be there).
