WCR: WHOA NELLY!!! Didn't expect to see THAT +1 this morning. And I had (note the word H A D) every intention of getting on the recumbent bike this morning to do my 25 minutes. Don't think so. Someone needs to be watched and closely. I will work on myself at some point... Hopefully tomorrow. We shall see. IF she gives me a # below 40 in 40 minutes, I'm considering going down to the 0.25u instead of microdosing for her next dose. I don't know if it'll be too much of a reduction, or not.

We have poo this morning. She pooped before the AMPS test. Ate her 1st breffis, and drank all of her first water. I've been increasing her water intake and going just past the 2 tsp. mark to ensure that she gets a bit more in her system.

Sending tons of healing vines, positive thoughts and prayers to whoever needs them.

MY WISH: For God to help heal the broken hearts of those who lost a beloved pet and/or human... For God to help those ailing make a full and speedy recovery... For everyone, including Blackie, to have great #s... For everyone, including Blackie, to be OTJ.​

I may give her a snack at +2 to hopefully keep her surfing safely. I'll be testing in 1/2 hour. She's currently on my lap so that I can get her.

Going to retest in 1/2 hour. NORMALLY she goes back up on her own. I may give it 20 minutes as it is. So, my clock on my computer says 7:58, I'll retest at 8:18 a.m. Currently on my lap so that I can grab her.

WHOA! and look at Blackie go. What a morning, and such a beautiful cycle. I will hope she follows her normal pattern, and will be up at the next test. Surf well little one.

Knew she'd come back up on her own. I did give her a 6g snack (didn't weigh it.. just approximate) for doing great, and hopefully to keep her surfing nicely. I've put her in a sunspot to keep her warm.

Now you've got an index card that's marked with the doses you need.

Then when you draw up a dose, compare your syringe to your index card that you've marked with 2.0, 2.25, 2.5, units, and line up your insulin dose with that line.

You'd use the ruler you create instead of the markings on any syringe - giving you a consistent dose time after time.

Ah that really useful info. I was using a metal ruler but I think I prefer this method instead.

The syringes I use aren't consistent enough. The stoppers don't always fall in the same area. If that makes sense. I'll continue doing what I know how to do. Thank you.
