Yesterday. Caber Yr 2 Day 24. Construction Day 2

I think doing that reducie set her back. When I talk to the workmen I'll ask what schedule is for next few days and dosecrease her tomorrow if I can. Now have to go back to 5.5 units to make up for it. Will I ever learn...........

Today I will be setting slow cooker in bathroom and put stew together for tonight.

They will be working on the electrical today. Moving outlets, putting wires in for the recessed lights, changing light switches. Part of carpet was ripped up. Some of the underlayment was pieced together with a bunch of small boards so they will be fixing that.

Good morning, Paula ❤️ Stew in the crock in the bathroom ....you are a much better woman than I .❤️ I’d be doing frozen ready to eat in the microwave :woot: You are amazing !! Sending prayers to you ,Ollie and all the fur kids :)

I hope you get Ollie back on track soon, Paula. Don't beat yourself up, you're doing amazing considering all the upheaval! And bathroom stew!!! You rock!!!

I have pics of Tux in the stroller someone at the urgent care took and sent me. But she sent link to icloud and I have not been able to download to attach. I saved to pc desktop, changed to .jpg but nothing seems to work. PDF is to big

Microwave is out because they have to move the vent. Husband eat prepared food.....NOT. I offered to get pizza for tonight but nope. Last night was grilled cheese for dinner on the couch. Oh hubby plans to grocery shop Thursday because there is no food in house. I want to know where he plans to put it.

Paula, as my neighbor is known to say " he can't help it, he's just a man "

I love the idea of the crockpot going in the bathroom - hey ya gotta be creative at times like this! I made meals in crockpots, microwave, electric fryer - all on top of the dryer in my laundry room downstairs! We had the coffeepot and toaster set up on the sewing machine cabinet and the rest of the 'kitchen' sat on top of the dryer and when I needed space to prep the lid to the washer was down and I'd use that - at least I had the laundry tub with running hot/cold water to clean up, wash dishes, pans, etc. It was kinda like camping - only inside and not out...and we managed. We don't eat much in the way of frozen or prepared foods...I'm old fashioned that way...those things always seem so 'artificial' to me...too salty...too many calories...I'd rather cook my own food...but that's just me. Although you can't keep me out of a restaurant when offered...ha! I do have my standards :) I hope Ollie settles down..I know what you mean about reducies...sometimes they totally go against us. I think Luci is having trouble with this dose herself...and I'm reluctant to give her too much of an increase because of our upcoming trip.

They had to rewire the whole kitchen. So ceiling didn't get done. Refrigerator and microwave were not on dedicated circuits. Had to run a line for ceiling fan and for the recessed lights. Separate some outlets and turn all of them horizontally (how I want them). Apparently previous owner did not put wiring behind the insulation so some of the paneling that was nailed up actually went through wiring. Found a live wire just dangling away. So he is fixing it all to make it safe.

Ollie has no fear trotting out of room and going right to them when I open the door to feed her. I guess she figures they will feed her. The others cower under the bed the whole time.
