Again, we had a super-low green surf last night:

+9: 148
PMPS: 142
+2: 41
+3: 35
+3.5: 42
+4: 48

Probably should have gotten another read at +5, but we were pretty exhausted. We did give her a wee bit of gravy at +3, mainly because her next meal wasn't due until +4 and we didn't want her dropping any lower than the 30s.

And of course it bounced back into the purples by morning. Insert frustrated face here. I'm looking forward to the day her curves stay flatter. Any suggestions?

That 35 earned you a dose reduction. Once the bounce clears, I'd suggest shaving the dose.

There's no way to get rid of the bounces other than to wait it out. The numbers will settle down.

Awesome! Thanks, Sienne.

If she's blue or green at PMPS, we'll drop down to 0.1 unit.

It's so nice that she's dropping the need for the insulin so fast this time around... I just wish she didn't bounce so high in between!

Hi guys .. yay on the dose reduction! I believe any time a kitty drops into the 30's it is an automatic reduction, but don't take my word on that .. I know seeing bounces are hard but it's the name of the game unfortunately .. we just have to wait them out .. have a great weekend!
