Woohoo, I could get used to waking up to numbers like this! Beautiful blue 120, not diving, not just the start of a bounce . . . lovely. I was noticing that her AMPS on this dose have gone down floor by floor, black to red to a lot of pink and now finally hopping right past yellow to blue! As I was petting a very purry Papaya this morning, I was also noticing how nice she feels. She's slimmer than she used to be so I can feel ribs rather than rolls, but she's gained enough all over that she doesn't feel bony, just sleek and soft.

Now that she's figuring out she can actually eat food by the bed while I'm asleep, I am going to have to experiment with putting food down after her AM shot to see if she'll snack on it during the three hours before actual getting-up time. If that worked - oh boy, I could sleeeeeeeep right through! (I get up at 4:15 for AMPS, again at 6:00 to give her more food, then up for real at 7:30) I'll just wait for a day when I know it won't make her dive too low if she decides not to bother eating before I'm up at +3.

Have a great Monday everyone!

Nice numbers for Papaya. I hope she keeps surfing. Hopefully your food experiment in the morning will work and you can sleep.

Thanks, Carla! I could use the sleep - we'll see if she cooperates!

Thanks Wendy for the reply in Saturday's condo about the strips - I'm glad to know that, as I'm sure I was told ADW did ship to Canada, but it was probably an American who just assumed  Guess I'd better renew my passport. At least the closest US city to me is only a couple hours away.

Thanks also Chris, Pam and Rhiannon for your visits yesterday! Chris - sure, I think you can buy ANYTHING in big quantities from China (um, the country, not your cat, clearly), maybe you're on to something with the strips  Pam - congrats is fine with me! And Rhiannon - we have come a long way . . . still looking ahead to more :-D

Lookit all that flatness (well, relatively speaking for Papaya). :-D Paws crossed for smooth sailing again tonight.

I think at one point ADW had a partner who shipped to Canada, but I couldn't find any reference to it this time when I searched the site. In BC, we can cross the border with an enhanced drivers license - not sure what your options are there. If you do decide to do the driving, looking into getting a US postal address. It's very easy to do here. Then ADW can ship there and you save even more over going into Walmart.

Good luck on the food experiment. I am so happy Neko took to the autofeeder easily.

Papaya is looking great :thumbup
Now come on back down sweet girl and surf safe for Mama ;-)
Good luck with the food experiment. Extra sleep is always good ;-)
Enjoy your night Amy!
