does it seem that ollie gets to his nadir sometime between +3 and +5? i;m just wondering what you think?

Doesn't look like this is going to be "the dose" He's still neg for ketones. Everything else about him seems good - he just doesn't test well. sorry - bad joke. Ollie has been stressed for the last couple days, but spent yesterday napping. (good thing)

He was all sprawled out on the bed, on his back with his feet everywhere. I wanted to take a picture but didn't want the flash to disturb him. i wanted him to have a day relaxing. He's always stressed when we're getting ready to move north or south. He's fine once we all get in the truck and get on the road. But for about week before we leave, while we're loading semis, and closing up the shop, there's a lot of noise and commotion... ollie has never liked noise and commotion.

I hope Sandy doesn't give anyone bad days. Take good care. Will send prayers out for all of us.

Good morning ecurie? It's funny how the kitties can always tell when something is up long before it happens. That's a great photo of Oliver Twist with his head out off the window of you truck. Does he travel OK in the sleeper? Have a great day and travel safe.

Glad to hear all is well with Ollie...the numbers and dose will eventually get there, but for now, as long as he's feeling good, that's all that matters! Ollie's picture in the truck is SOOOOO adorable! He looks like he's ready to cruise along there! I don't blame in on the noise and commotion...I'm the same way :lol: !

Hi Mary, I'm not seing the picture of Ollie in the truck. Am I missing a link? It is funny how they know when something is about to happen, like with your move. I bet once things are settled down, numbers will improve. Have a good Sunday.

Hi Mary, oh :-D I see Oliver now in the truck! Thanks for your post. That is the cutest pic ever, and I can see Oliver thinks he is the big shot riding in the truck. I love it!

You are right that his numbers could be higher because of transition, moving and all that ruckus. Our kitties HATE noise, and will growl and run under the beds when the UPS truck pulls in front of the house. Paws crossed all goes well and Oliver T settles down quickly. :YMHUG:

Give Ollie a few more cycles on this dose before you'll know if he needs another one. Stress can definitely play a part in numbers. Its amazing how much they are impacted by stuff.

Whine away. :smile: I'm sure there are many others that have been right there with you. This whole journey can be so overwhelming. I feel so blessed that Fur Ball made it so quickly to the falls. I pray for all the other little kitties and beans that they might also get there. But, until that time at least there is this amazing forum to support and encourage everyone.
