Good morning,

Yesterday's condo

10/27 AMPS=135; +2=128; +4.5=166
10/27 PMPS=173; +2=101; +3=88; +4.5=85; +6=106

10/28 AMPS=196; +1=234; +2=239; +10=160
10/28 PMPS=166; +2=142; +4.5=158; +6=155

Lucy improved last night, but vomited some liquified food overnight - probably early in the morning.
She's not eating, but I've got Pepcid in her and am waiting for it to kick in.
Since her number is high, so I will shoot her if she eats even half of her breakfast.

She did improve yesterday evening, so I gave her a small sample of raw meat.
Maybe I should have waited a few days for her tummy to fully recover, but thought it would be fine.
I don't know if today's vomit is from the raw meat sample or still from the earlier upset problem which I suspect caused by gravy.

I'll report back soon.....

Re: 10/28 Lucy AMPM=196

Lucy is eating slowly, so I gave her a full shot.
She is getting so irritable about shots these days.....
I don't know why she became so sensitive about it.

Re: 10/28 Lucy AMPM=196

Mine was really sensitive to getting her shots too. Even her favorite food wasn't a good distraction.

Sending feel better vines to Lucy.

Yellow number......
Lucy is not feeling well, but she is still eating.....

Re: 10/28 Lucy AMPM=196;+1=234

Hi Mariko! Papaya has been giving me "catittude" about the shots lately too, there must be a protest movement afoot? Sometimes I just have to stop trying for a minute to let her chill out - a few times she has snapped at me and twisted away after I have put in the needle but before I push down the plunger, so she's sitting there bristling, with the whole syringe still stuck in there without my hand! I hope Lucy feels a bit better soon. She sure does have a sensitive tummy, poor girl.

Re: 10/28 Lucy AMPM=196;+1=234;+2=239

Lucy didn't want to finish her 3rd breakfast, but she's high enough.
Poor girl, feeling so yucky.
She's moving like a really old lady today.

After seeing the post about moldy Wellness....
I'm wondering if Lucy will eat anything else....

Seems that would be something to test and see if she doesn't feel better eating something else.
Seems they have been having too many changes and difficulties reading all the rest of condos these last few months.

Still prayers for Lucy.

Re: 10/28 Lucy PMPS=166

Thank you all for your visit!
I am happy to report to you that Lucy is doing much better this evening.
She was moving really slowly like a really fragile old lady, but that has improved too.

Rhiannon - I know... I saw Melissa/Ebby's condo too. Her story about the moldy can is really disgusting.
I am not saying that my Wellness Turkey was a bad batch too, but that's a possibility.
After seeing her post this evening, I immediately returned the remaining cans of the case (I only used 2 cans).

I am going to feed her only 3oz Wellness Turkey cans that are "product of Canada" from now on, at least until I find something else.
That's what I gave her this morning and this evening, and she ate pretty well tonight.
I'm going to keep looking other options, something she likes and her stomach can take and is appropriate for her health conditions, but that's not easy.
And trying too many different food is also a bit risky for Lucy's IBD and pancreatitis, so I'll keep looking but have to experiment slowly.

Re: 10/28 Lucy PMPS=166

Sending healing prayers for Lucy today.
When Mr.Cat started vomiting in the morning off and on, I eventually figured out that it was one flavor of his canned food (Natural Choice chicken flavor). As soon as he stopped the chicken flavor, the vomiting stopped. I tried Wellness but it made his blood sugar too irregular (it has veggies/carbs), so I don't know much about the brand's quality. Best of luck finding something that works for Lucy. Hope she feels better soon!
