Happy Tuesday!! Sending out many healing vines to Tiger, JD, Shylo, Sasha, Blackie, Elise's Mom, Amy's Dad, and any others who need them.

Gracie was a wild child this morning but I could say that about her many mornings and many days. She will follow me down the hall and when I turn around to go back the other way, she'll do

and take off running but always stops to look behind and make sure I am there. It's almost as if she has a big grin on her face. Such a Lil Stinka!!!

Well it sure looked to both of us like the insulin was getting toasty because she had one crazy wonky cycle last night; although, it could have been she started to clear a bounce and changed her mind. Only Gracie knows. At any rate, the pen was almost empty....we only had a few units left in it so I started a new one this morning. It also looks to me like she might have gotten a little NDW (if the old pen was toasty, new insulin would be like a dose increase). We'll give her a cycle or two and see how she does.

Ick...back to TBP for me tomorrow. We're headed out for a quick hike. I'll BBL. Have a great day.

Soul Sista's are back in synch in pink. :YMSIGH: Sometimes I think about using a little R in cases like this, and then I see what Gracie did at R+2. Paws crossed she gets over NDW/steep drop bounce quickly.

A hike sounds like a great idea today. I'd like to do the same but it's a little wild in the woods here today.

Hee hee. Love the wild child! Nothing more fun that a feisty, playful kitty. :-D

I hope the new pen gets Gracie back on track.

Thanks for straightening me out about NDW. The more I learn the more I realize I don't know! :lol:

Wendy....I probably should have held off on the R because I had started a new pen and because it could have been high before the break. But since we were going to be here all day, we decided to get her out of pink. If you look back on most of the days that I used R more judiciously, she didn't drop like that. Also, if she had given me that 319 at +2 or +3, I wouldn't have given it. But because she went up after when she normally onsets, Mike and I felt we'd try just a drop.

Miss Gracie continues to be unpredictable. :lol: :mrgreen: That's my worry with using R. Yet another thing to be surprised about.

Thank you for your input on Tiger last night and for the well wishes today. Sometimes when I think I will lost my mind worrying about things with Tiger nailbite_smile , I remember that I have this great forum to visit and find comfort and knowledge, thanks! You were right BTW, I meant to say mucous, not gel. The body was willing but the brain was not last night :roll:
