Happy Friday afternoon LL friends!
Gracie dipped her little adorable toes into green last night and probably would have stayed at the green lagoon longer with Mannie and Tess but for her mama. When she took that 45 mg/dl/hour trip from +3 to +5, I thought I better slow her down as movement that early in her cycle usually means she goes really low at +6/+7. So I gave her a little 10% which worked very well but she was still coming down at 17 mg/dl/hour (not so fast but doesn't give much room when her nadir is usually +12). So at the 88 at +6, I gave her just a teeny tiny bit more 10% to see if she would just surf the rest of the night. Two nights in a row of really low numbers was not appealing to her or me. So...she didn't get to stay at the green lagoon long but she still surfed blue all night. Healing numbers. We got the results of her bloodwork and urine back this morning and everything was gorgeous!! Her ALT has come back down into normal numbers and her BG was actually 215! Lowest it has ever been for Antech bloodwork. Dr. B. was extremely impressed with the progress she has made on lev.anti jinx
For the brief times in between testing that I did sleep, I had Gracie curled up on one side of me and Tobes on the other...stereo purring and snuggling!! I had the windows wide open and I was snuggled down in the down comforter and their little ears were cold   Gracie has been catching up on her kitty napping today and I am shortly headed to join her for a bit in case she'd like another visit to the green lagoon tonight.
Hope everyone is having a great day!
