Good morning! ~O)

Well, Corduroy's numbers are still high, but it seems that they're coming down just a little...slowly. We've still been giving him .50 units. The neuropathy in his back legs is still bad. It always seems to be worse when his numbers are high :YMSIGH:

I hope everyone has a good day and that your kitties get into the lagoon...safely!

Re: 10/28, Corduroy, AMPS=390

Good morning Brigitte!

Sorry to hear Corduroy isn't doing as well today. Sure wish there was some explanation for his crazy numbers! Going from super low tests on tiny doses (and being really hard to get up) to where he is now is just weird

Hope things get better soon for you both.

Oh my goodness, I have NO idea what is going on. I just checked Corduroy's +4, and it's 415! This is absolutely crazy. I made an appt. to have his bloodwork checked on Wednesday, but his numbers make no sense to me at all. This is so stressful

Has anyone else had these kinds of numbers?

We've all had high numbers, but what really confuses me (and I'm sure you too) is how he could have been going SO low (20's and 30's) on .1 and then goes so high on the higher doses.

You're absolutely sure there's nothing he can get into that he shouldn't? China (who's NEVER eaten my dog's kibble in the past) got caught munching a few days ago. Now the dog food comes up...sneaky little China!!

I wish I had an explanation or an answer for you, but it makes no sense to me either. All I can do is wish you both luck and hope at some point, either someone who's been dealing with this longer than I can figure it out, or Corduroy starts responding better.

I'm thinking you're going to need to increase again soon

Actually, the 390 and the 415 are pretty much the same number. If you factor in 20% variance due to the meter, Corduroy is surfing. For now, let's see what happens. For many cats, they experience a high before a break in the numbers. I hope that's the case for Corduroy.
