Mornin’ :coffee::coffee:

Beenie earned another reducie. Screwed up my alarm overnight but luckily the mama bean subconscious is always alert

Beenie was doing good this morning and didn’t hear any cough/wheeze. Last night was another story:arghh:. I was very concerned but it seems to pass after a while. I considered taking her to an emergency hospital today but she’s ok.

Hope everyone has a good Caturday:cat:

Chin scritches to all the kitties
:bighug:

Good job on the spidey senses! :D A little soon after the last reducie for this one - if you didn't have an acro/IAA/cat on cabergoline.;)

Cough be gone.

So funny I was explaining to DH about that. If Beenie didn't have all those things we wouldn't do a back to back reductions. Also lessened learned from previous reductions, no need to reduce too much. I did that the first time around and lost momentum. .5 U is plenty for us right now.
Thanks Wendy. Hope DM is doing better:bighug:

Nice AMPS. Hope a Beenie surfs safely today and that her cough stays away.
Thanks. Fingers crossed I don't have to take her to an emergency clinic before Tuesday's appointment. The idea swirled in my head last night. So far today is ok

Hope her coughing decreases and you find some answers on Tuesday. Very nice start today! Hopefully not too nice... No diving today please, Beenie!

Im at emergency hospital with Beenie now. The cough and wheezing was just too much. I can’t wait until she can’t breathe. Just spoke to ER doc and diabetes certainly makes treatment tough. They’re going to give her a puff of albuteral and put her in oxygen chamber to see if that hepls her. We still need ultrasound but just hoping she can get relief until then.
Vetty vines appreciated :(

Sending more vines and prayers for Beenie and :bighug: for you.

ER doc just came out again. Xrays were sent over from my regular vet (most recent October) and she wants them sent to a Radiologist. She feels the heart looks a little large and round in shape and would like a radiologist to assess. That will take 24hrs+ to get a reading.
She said her breathing is a little better and is now voicing her displeasure which is a good sign. They’re going to take her out of oxygen chamber soon to see how see does.

Thanks guys. I feel so much better that we’re here. This place is nicer than some of the doctor offices I’ve been to. It just oozes “expensive “ :nailbiting:

She’s in good hands. I’m a little worried about her heart now, was kind of hoping it was just asthma but no diagnosis yet.

First, HUGS and hugs and lots more hugs.

Even if it's heart issues, that can also be handled. Finding it earlier than later helps a lot too.

More hugs, thoughts and prayers...

Thank you. We're home but she seems a little out of sorts. Keeps moving to different spots and lays down. Then gets up and moves again. I think she'll settle in. Not sure if the alburetol has any effects.
I tried to give her a little snack and she refused...a Beenie first. I knew it was too soon but she loves to eat so I thought it would make her happy. I'll let her get settled now and try a little later. I want to get a BG test in but I have to give her 20 more minutes to rest.

Poor Beenie. Glad you guys made it back home. Hope she settles in soon and is able to rest. :bighug:

First of all, I am so sorry to hear Beenie had to go to the ER, breathing emergencies are very very scary-- here's some of my strongest healing vines for the both of you..:bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug: I hope your vet can provide you with a diagnosis and answers and a workable plan for your Beenie. I can tell you that I have asthma and have for years. If you aren't used to albuterol, it can cause a tremendous rush to your system, sort of like I would imagine amphetamines or too much caffeine would make a person feel? It can cause your heart to pound in other words and I am wondering if this is why your kitty is having trouble getting settled in and comfortable. (If only they could talk) I just wanted to give a human being's perspective on what this particular medication feels like. Hopefully, if your kitty is diagnosed with asthma the medications used to prevent don't have that same side effects. Vines

Thank you. That makes sense she seemed antsy. She did finally eat a little. I gave her 1/2 of her regularly scheduled LC snack at +9 and she was very happy to eat it. She has settled down some and is resting now. I think she'll be fine now, she needed that relief. I hope we can get to the bottom of it this week. I did already order the aerokat online in preparation but I can always return that if asthma ends up not being the diagnosis. Thank you so much for the explanation and kind works:bighug:

Thanks! She's looking really good. Perky eyes and is anxiously waiting dinner time:cat: DH and I had a Halloween party to go to tonight, we had matching costumes and everything:rolleyes:. Not going but since we had the sitter set we're going to grab a quick bite to eat locally and head back home to be with Beenie and binge watch Stranger Things 2.:)

Thank you everyone for your vines, prayers and well wishes :bighug::bighug::bighug:

So sorry to see that Beenie has been having breathing problems. Fingers (and paws) crossed that she continues doing well. Breathing problems are always very worrisome. Hopefully you can get some more answers at her appointment next week.

Just saw you had to go to the ER. Sorry, but it sounds like she really needed it. :bighug:
Maggie takes albuterol occasionally, and it makes her wired for a little while, like Ruth said it does her.
Glad Beenie is feeling good enough to be hungry. :cat:
If your DH is anything like mine, bet he's glad he can't go to the costume party! :D:rolleyes::smuggrin:
