Good Morning LL! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Thank you Elsa! Tess is heading right back down to her marathon party in the Lagoon. That 37 yesterday morning earned her a reduction, but we are going to try making it a BCS shave, just a drop removed to drain the shed a little and then back to her fave dose. She has just repeatedly not held a reduction below this and we're trying to avoid the days of NDW and adjustments that follow.

I just placed an order at Chewy.com for some Dave's cat food, I sure hope that she continues to like it. So far everything I've tried she loves. BTW they have the 95% Chicken in stock, so those of you who have been looking for it can get it there if you want a case. I need to call them to get more numbers. Form many of their foods they have AS Fed numbers on their Website, but some just have the Guaranteed Analysis. They had the Turkey and Giblets linked in one place w/ just the GA, then i found another link and that had the As Fed. The carbs went from 11% to 3% with the more accurate data! :-D :-D

Good luck with the new/BCS SHAVED dose. I like your plan pf shaving a little to drain the shed. I so remember how she handles this dose. Sounds like a great plan to me. I will hope that Tess does too. I don't blame you for trying to avoid that NDW and all those adjustments.

Nice (!!) on the new foods source. What a relief to find a place too that lists the as fed. YIPPIE! I hope too that Tess continues to like the food.

Hi Ann.

It will be interesting to see how Tess does with your dosing strategy. This is really a logistical game, isn't it? I just have this mental image of beans huddled around a table in the night, with charts and graphs, plotting their strategy! :lol:

Thanks for sharing the info on the Dave's. I've been frustrated by the inconsistency of the info, too. I'm glad to hear that the Turkey and Giblets is 3%, as it is very popular around here. Please continue to share any other info you find. I am still holding off on buying the 95% chicken until I can find a single can to purchase. My kitties don't usually like plain chicken cat food (although they love plain chicken people food!), so I don't want to invest in 24 cans until I know they'll eat it! They love the Chicken and Herring and Chicken and Whitefish, as well as the T&G, the Gobbleisciuos Gourmet and the Tuna and Shrimp. Where did you find the As Fed info in the alternate link? Did it have the info for the other flavors, too?

Thanks, I hope this works too. At least she hasn't sky rocked w/ the shave yet.

Tricia, the T&G comes in 3 different sized can and they have a page for each one separately. The 5.5oz had the As Fed, the other 2 didn't. :roll:

Thanks for all the valuable info. about Dave's. I may order from Chewy.s. the 2 stores that I have found it in only carry the 5.5 oz cans.

And here we go again! :roll: I was late getting home from the studio and John isn't sure how much of a shave he gave her. Apparently not enough! :lol: :lol:

WOW, look at that! and a 34 in there too. LOL on the shave not being enough. ;-) Here's hoping for a no bounce morning....
