Pretty sure (really hoping) that this is a bounce. Sherlock hasn't hit 400 in a while, yikes. He seems fine, though. He's lounging near a window with Dru, the outside cat who has come inside because it's cold this morning. They usually loathe each other, so that's kind of nice to see.

DW and I are headed to the last day of early voting here, though it's gloomy and wet and we also kind of want to stay in bed. Ah, well. We've promised ourselves a nice breakfast when we're done, and then I need to spend part of the day prepping a Halloween dessert to take to a party later. If they're successful (fingers crossed), I'll post pictures later.

I looked at Sherlock's SS & I'm curious why you weren't giving any insulin from July thru Sept.? I hope the increase brings his High BG down :)

It's great that you're testing ,but it would be better if you got a few more tests in am & pm . The more info on his SS the better. You can then see how the insulin is affecting his BG.
People that come to help you will be looking at his SS for information.

Have you read the sticky notes about how the insulin works? Are you feeding any Dry food? It can affect his bg also.
Yellow sticky note: Info Dry Food - PLEASE consider more than just carbohydrate content

The more you read & understand the easier it will be to help Sherlock.Remember the goal is to get Green #'s :D
Have a Good weekend! :)

Good morning! We weren't doing insulin initially because he needed surgery and there was concern that it would complicate things since he couldn't fast and go without water. It was complicated for a while.

We have been on wet food since July. We both work, so daytime testing any extra during the week is impossible. We try to make up for it on the weekend. But we're trying to get him down.
