Good Evening, Everyone,

It was a grueling 7-hour trip home in heavy traffic, pelting rain (and later, snow), but we made it and Rusty was great. He didn't get carsick, he was a perfect passenger: he watched out the windows, napped, used his lb, and was very patient; no meows until we were 20 minutes from home (I think his GPS is perfect!). He didn't eat any of his food on the trip, but did have breakfast and a good shot this morning. It was 50 degrees and raining in NYC this morning; here in the Adirondacks it is freezing (31 degrees this evening) and we are expecting to have a hard freeze tonight. There was snow in the high peaks. I don't think we'll be canoeing tomorrow!

Thanks to everyone for visiting Rusty's condo this week. I'm sorry I couldn't get to more condos, but it is slow typing on the IPad. Last night we had a lovely dinner at the Café D'Alsace, where they specialize in sausages (Edward was in heaven!) and have draft beer from all over. We tried an Imperial IPA from Idaho (Laughing Dog Brewery, "Alpha Dog") and it was excellent (no cat brews!). Celi, do you know this beer? It's worth a search.

Rusty had a meal less than 2 hours before PMPS, so that and the trip probably influenced the PMPS number, but on the whole we are happy that it is close to AMPS and that AMPS was blue. I've got to kick back and relax for a few hours and watch some of the World Series (I drove the entire trip with a low-grade migraine). Back later to say goodnight.

Thanks, kitties, for visiting me in the city. What did you think of the stuffed ancestral cats in the museum? I wonder what they would think of the hotdogs!

Welcome home! And pretty decent numbers for all the traveling and late dinner for Rusty. He is such a good boy!

Rusty sure is a champ at traveling. Can you have him send BigMac some advice? BigMac just moans and meoorrrrs in this deep gutteral sad voice non-stop as soon as he is in the carrier. He hates being in a box. As soon as we arrive at the vet's and I take him out, there is nothing he wants more than to get back IN that box.

So what is Rusty's secret? I'm envious.

Snow? Already? Wow, and I was complaining about the 55 degree weather here last night. I will be quiet now.

Welcome home!!! Sounds like a fun time was had by all (except Edward at the dentist) in the City. Yum yum on the food. And look at Rusty with a blue AMPS!

Maybe now he is home, he will come back down for his cycles. Glad he had a good trip home.

31??? It's 73 here and I'm freezing!

Rusty had the most fantastic play tonight with Edward (with the butterfly wand that MJ sent him and with "Red Ears"), and then, when Edward left the game, carried on by himself. I have never seen him so totally "in" the game. Wow, is he ever quick, and accurate.
Ni Ni all. The World Series game is still going on and I may try to catch it on the radio as I go to sleep
