Yesterday Luci hung out in the lemon tree...and I'd had such a stressful week, I decided if lemons are good enough for her, they're good enough for us and since I'm cleaning out my refrigerators and trying to use up things...I had 5 lemons and a container of sour cream - hence some 'baking therapy' and the result is below. Lemon pound cake which called for 5 lemons (zest and juice) and 1 cup of sour cream! Guess what I had with my coffee this morning..

You're welcome to come over and join me. We'll sit by the fire and stay warm - kind of a raw day getting started this morning - 48 degrees and windy/rainy. Have a great day everyone!

The crumb/texture of that cake is beautiful! I bet you're an amazing cook! Luci...you need to stop worrying mom. Stay away from those lemons!

Looks like we're just entering cycle 6 with a single toe dip today...hmmm...thinking that I'll give her one more day and if she can't do any better than this, an increase will be planned for Tuesday morning...she was a bit shaky getting started with this decrease...but then seemed to rally...but now she appears that she's gotten lazy again.

Next weekend we're traveling so I don't want to increase then...may even decrease if she's hitting the lagoon regularly since testing frequently on the road is challenging for me. I figure by putting the dose increase threat out there, she might read this and get her act together tonight...we'll see.
