Good Morning LL! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (YUM! I Love coffee!), and Happy First Day of Fall!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! Lola and Bug are very busy resting.... they say they is mega tired... I dunno why, but they are. They say Sunday is sleep in day... well ok then! so. well. anyways. ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot espresso, beans from the heart of central Ethiopia. For my mocha fans: Venti Quad orange and vanilla mocha, laced with orange swirls, topped with chocolate whip, garnished with orange zest, slivered vanilla beans and chocolate swirls....... SWEET!, and perfect for a fall day. OH! No worries, a dollop of orange and vanilla and chocolate and caramel swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, and a chocolate caramel drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! TJ's dunking cookies and Cronuts standard with every delivery!

I hope everyone had a great Caturday. Mine was catch up day, and I did get alot done, bills, laundry, shopping, all the fun stuff. Even cleaned up Lola's plant and dirt mess from yesterday... :lol: Not too terribly exciting, but things were accomplished. That and some serious recovery time from the week. The time with the boys was a blast and we sure had fun though, lots of really cool things to do, lots of river visits. Caturday was my recovery day. I was able to get out for a shore and woods walk in the afternoon too. Our fog has finally lifted. A big HOORAY on that. It remains cool, little sun, with a high of 52. WooHOO! A heat wave! :lol: My shore walk was really nice. The leaves are really starting to fall now. The trails there are so nice when they are leaf covered. it has to be one of my favorite times in the park. Of course I took photos. A duh, huh.... More Meadowdale

Normalcy in MusketeerVille! :cool: :cool: :cool: It was such a quiet day here yesterday for the kitties... Until I came back from the store and brought paper bags. :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: This time Lola even waited for me to take out the groceries. Phew! I wrote yesterday about the plant mess, the really big plant mess... yesterday I fixed all as it should be, cleaned the area really well replanted the plant. Of course I had a supervisor. LOLA! and amazingly she left it alone. Hmmmmm.... wonder if there is a plot afoot? I keep waiting for another one of those WHAM!'s... :shock: Elsa and Bug are really in Fall mode. both napped alot, came up for air when mischief was afoot. Well Bug did. Elsa kinda just looked around and said: "uh, no..." and went back to her nap. Lola has also left the Halloween decorations alone too. Even the ghost windsock. YAY! Maybe we will make Halloween without further incident. oh sure.... Normalcy in MusketeerVille!

Have a great day everyone! I'm not too sure what will be here today. I had hopes to hike, but the weather report is not all that favorable, even snow in the forecast for the mountains. Well... we shall see what the next few hours look like, then decide. I may wait until monday when there are sun rumors... An out and about for sure, but I think it will be local... It might be a good day just to stay put. We shall see!

I'm so glad that your fog finally lifted and that you were able to get out. Hopefully there will be good weather in the mountains today and you'll be able to hike there. (We have snow on the higher mountains here; not a lot, but it's there!).

Your poor plant! You must tell Lola that plants are living creatures and should get some respect! Our "Pit" (42-year-old avocado) would hate to be around Lola!!

Elsa, that Ethiopian espresso is just the thing this damp, chilly morning. (and to help us recover from last night's game!)

Morning Ella ~O) ~O) ~O) Well.... it looks like a no go for the mountains today. The rains have started early, and it's really wet out there. What was supposed to have been maybe an hour wet window is turning into a good portion of the day. So we will do local today, go to the mountains tomorrow when the weather is supposed to be sunny. I know on Lola... we had a heart to heart talk yesterday. Hmmmm.. I could have sworn I saw her roll her eyes. :lol: Your Pit definitely would not like Lola! :shock: THX on today - I will get out, but locally.

I hope the rain lets up enough for you to get out somewhere today. Hopefully Lola will leave the plant alone now. Probably not, but we can always hope. :lol:

You actually made our news a couple of days ago with all the fog you've been getting. Hopefully you'll be seeing some sun soon ;-)
I think Florida kitties aren't really sure how to act.
Their bodies are telling them they should be getting in hibernation mode but the weather is still in the 80's :dizcat Poor babies :lol: :lol:
Hopefully Lola actually listened to you :roll: and will be nicer to your plants...we'll see :lol: :lol:

Hi Everyone! I hope your Sunday has been a good one. I can't believe that the weekend is over. where did it go? Got alot done this AM, more at home chores, and the bills. Gotta pay the bills.... rains finally stopped about 11, so I headed on out after that. I just did the local stuff here at home, as it was really wet and rainy in Bellevue, which was my backup plan: Cougar Mountain. anyways I did maybe 7 miles today, just exploring the woods, and some of the shore line. We had great sky drama for a while, that was fun. I sat and watched that evolve for a few. Spent the rest of the time hiking the woods. By then the sun was out, sure made for a nice afternoon. Blues skies as I type this, might be a great sunset tonight. Of course I took way to many photos, and will post those in the condo tomorrow.

Hi Carla - THX: it finally did stop raining, so I was able to head on out about noon. We even had sun after a while too! :shock: I had almost forgotten what that looked like... :lol: I think you may be right about Lola and that plant... I suspect she will be back. usual pattern is she leaves them alone and then about 5 days later back she goes. :roll: :roll:

Hi Pam - THX on the pics. It was nice down there yesterday, and today too. I love it when the trails are covered in fallen leaves that still have their color. Kinda cool! OH WOW! We made your news? AWESOME! I think we had maybe 13/14 days of straight fog. Some areas were lucky to have it clear mid-day. Here by the house it was total sock in. all. day, long. :roll: We FINALLY has some sun this afternoon. :-D :-D :-D :-D oh my on your babies... 80? still? well.... on Lola.... maybe she did listen? Maybe? i bet that is a dream.... ;-) THX on today - it was great.
 
So you must be close to Bellevue. My Great Aunt and Uncle live there :-D We hope to one day get back out there to visit. I haven't been there since I was 5 years old and remember salting slugs with my Great Grampa :-D

Hi Pam - yupp! We are close to Bellevue, about 20 miles away. My DD, DSIL, DGS's live in Bellevue, that is where I grew up. LOL on the salting slugs. :lol: :lol: :lol: I did too! Any time on the memories! I will hope you can make it back out here someday.
 
Sorry for the late post, but needed my sneak peak at your photos. I so love those fallen leaves. Nothing better than kicking through a bunch of fallen maple leaves on the trail. :-D

It is great the fog has lifted for now and our drizzle didn't last long - blue skies again today. I look forward to your "sky drama" photos.

I "beer" my slugs now. :lol: :lol:

Hi Wendy ~O) No worries on the postings. I'm lucky that I can get visits in.... THX on the pics. I too love those fallen leaves. SO true on the kicking part. I did alot of that yesterday. :cool: I am so agreed on the sunny afternoon - that sure was nice! We are due for a sunny couple of days. I so hope they are right. oh too funny on the beer. I hear that works! :lol: I hope you like the photos that will be posted today.
