Amps 217 Libre

Ivy didn’t have a great appetite this morning. She hasn’t finished her breakfast yet. She had an active pm cycle last night and I spent several hours overnight feeding 1/2 to 1 tsp of 12.5% to pull her back up (she was 50s on Libre, which is over 100 on a handheld meter, but I didn’t want her to drop too low all night long).

She dropped a bit lower while I was out to dinner last night also, so it was an active night.

I’m supposed to be out this morning from around +4 to +8 for a baby shower.
Not yet sure what she’s doing this morning cycle to see if I can go

I am sorry she is dropping right in the moment you wanted to go. I hope it's o.k. for you to miss out. Miss Ivy had other plans... I hope you can stabilize her.

Thanks, Kit, it was just easier to bail. It’s too far away to go late and she’s still not really stable anyway. Oh well

You're probably right, Carla. I was trying to feed just a teaspoon at a time, but that can certainly add up and I’m sure curtail her appetite at the next meal, which is probably a few hours away.

Hi Heike, I’m sure her appetite was diminished because she had a little bit to eat overnight. I can only assume that must reduce her appetite for breakfast. It took me a while, but I got most of her food into her and then have been feeding additional teaspoons again this morning. Hoping to stop feeding her soon so she’s hungry for dinner in six hours.

Stay at home. I think Ivy was jealous of a new baby who’s coming soon. She wants to make sure she’s the only baby we pay attention to

Hi Heike, I’m sure her appetite was diminished because she had a little bit to eat overnight. I can only assume that must reduce her appetite for breakfast. It took me a while, but I got most of her food into her and then have been feeding additional teaspoons again this morning. Hoping to stop feeding her soon so she’s hungry for dinner in six hours.

Hi Staci,
I can imagine Queen Ivy doesn't like anyone else beside her. Especially hairless creatures, who make a lot of noise. But who knows. Binie is not very fond of children and usually just goes away when they come too close. But she likes sleeping babys. Years ago Binies first owners visited us with their newborn baby girl and I was very suprised, that Binie insisted on lying next to the baby. She was sniffing the baby and purred a lot. Same with my friends daughter. Every time they visited us, Binie interrupted her evening routine outside and lay down next to the girl until it slept. Very sweet. So hopefully Ivy will arrange. Good to see Ivy came up now. She really choose exactly the time you wanted to go away....

She's been having really nice cycles the last month. So many more blues and greens. Way to go Ivy!

I can’t imaging Ivy wanting anything to do with a baby.
She doesn’t even come out when adults come to visit. No interest.
Just wants her mommy to herself. You were right!
It’s like Ivy knows I had plans to leave today. She’s so smart

Hi Karolina, thanks so much for checking in. I was hoping you are all doing ok! We’ve missed you.
Ivy clearly wanted a mommy day and she wasn’t willing to share me.
Not a big deal for me to skip the shower
Hoping for a better night sleep tonight. Last night was active and she oddly slept in my closet so I had to work to get under the clothes to give her the snacks at 1 am

There were some people there that I wasn’t thrilled about having to see anyway, but of course I would’ve gone had she been stable.
Ivy and I did have a little siesta this afternoon so that was quite nice.

I figured that
