Good morning, Nothing new to report except I can't get my butt out of bed at 3-4am for a test.

I think this is the main reason. Especially if you are looking at things like Tuna/salmon, blue fish will generally have a higher heavy metal content than white fish, being as they are higher up the food chain. But I cant remember why. Mercury?
So has he got better appy when he is in blue green?Seeing a pattern now. when buddy's numbers are in the yellow he don't want to eat. but he does like the friskies flaked /w tuna.
So has he got better appy when he is in blue green?
He did eat his mid day meals without a problem. 1/4 can at +4 and +8 I don't usually offer him more that than during mid day and he don't usually ask for more.. overnight I gave him 1/8 snack at +6Hmmm so yesterday when he was blue/green midcycle, how was his appy?
That makes me feel better about him. But get a ketone test, just to be safeHe did eat his mid day meals without a problem. 1/4 can at +4 and +8 I don't usually offer him more that than during mid day and he don't usually ask for more.. overnight I gave him 1/8 snack at +6
Do you think you could check his ketones, iffy appy and numbers a bit raised starts to raise alarm bells for me.

Are you referring to a ketone meter to check urine or blood? Just curious- as obviously no 'catching' would be involved for the blood ketone meter...
I always used pee sticks, so I would have to 'catch' George in the act.Are you referring to a ketone meter to check urine or blood? Just curious- as obviously no 'catching' would be involved for the blood ketone meter...
But if you have a ketone meter that makes it easier.
You really want to get a number for the ketones, as opposed to just an alert.I have has a ketone alert function in it.

If he were to have trace ketones it's something that you would monitor and start to take precautions for. If it only alerts you when they actually need medical attention, then thats, less helpful.
I would be checking him again at +3.3
LOL if you look at our ss in the early days, I was a compulsive tester.I almost just want to check him every hour and see what the heck he is doing.
What a beautiful panther!oh there!
f you were to take his dose up, how are you fixed in terms of monitoring over the next couple of days?
I think that's a good plan. Not a problem I am home. I was going to take his dose up to 1.5 before he threw those few greens out. So maybe the plan should be dose increase in the morning?
