Another nice, event-free morning for Trix and I. Snuggles, happy appy, and smooth gelcappin are all in order.

(Of course I typed the bulk of this up earlier, before I did her "+3". With her first +3 test, I got 180 :shock: :o ...with no reason that I could think of for having such a spike [other than you-know-what]. I retested with a new strip from a new container and got the 128...still not as much of a drop as I would like to see, so it's nailbite_smile kinda day. Hopefully that 180 was just a bad strip....only time will tell.......)

Yesterday morning, when I got back up after my BTB, DH was dozing on the couch - and Trix was dozing on him! This is another rarity and was so cute to see. Trix always snuggles when we're on the computer, but when we're on the couches, she's always "nearby" but very, very rarely actually on us. She looked so cute and cozy stretched out on the fluffy red blanket DH was using.

It was a long day yesterday, and another one ahead today...more teaching at work, followed by all sorts of fuds shopping and errands. I'm already tired just thinking about it!

Yay for snuggles! :-D :-D And all the other aspects of a good WCR. :-D I'll ignore that 180, clearly a hokey pokey. Hope today goes smoothly. You are off tomorrow?

I'm not off again until Tuesday...but Tuesday will hopefully be my Dad's chemo, rescheduled from last week due to low platelets. My schedule changes every week. I didn't mind it the first several years of having the store, but at this point, I actually kind of miss having "regular/normal" weekends. We're probably closing the store in March 2016, so maybe a degree of "normalcy" will return then.

And yes...hopefully it was a hokey pokey :lol: !!!

I concur! that 180 was just a whacky strip. yes-sir-ree! It sounds like a great day in TrixieLand.

How fun with the snoozin' on DH. That had to have been cute.

Did you take a picture of Trixie napping with her daddybean? Minka does that with Mark. When he's napping on the sofa, she's usually curled up on top of him. I have so many pictures of it, because every time I just melt! :-D

I, too, think that first +3 was a bad strip. Just erase it from your memory.. I'm sure Ms. P is doing just fine. (anti-jinx)
