10/26 Sootie's family: Bo passed away at sunrise

So sorry to hear that Bo has crossed the bridge.

I am so very sorry to read this..my heart goes out to you, I know yours is breaking..:bighug::bighug:I think there is no better way for our fur kids to head on their journey than how you describe Bo left..warm, enveloped in your arms wrapped in love..I am sure he landed softly at the :rb_icon:
I am going to share how I see the rainbow bridge with you, I hope it helps a little tiny bit...:bighug:
I have a picture of the rainbow bridge in my mind. It is a beautiful bridge covered in millions of tiny sparkling bells. When each new cat arrives it shimmers and all of those sparkling bells move just enough to make the most beautiful sound...the GA kitties are there all around and the new cats bell is added to the bridge and the melody...
That melody now has another beautiful note,Bo's, in its melody

I haven't been commenting much lately, but I've kept up on reading and know the challenges he'd been through the last several days. I'm happy that if he had to leave, he did it on his own terms, at home, peacefully surrounded by the beans that loved him.
Fly free dear Bo and land softly!! There are many friends at the Bridge to welcome you and keep you company until the ones you love most come to be with you forever cat_wings>o

I'm so sorry that Bo had to leave you, but you gave him a wonderful, loving sendoff. I hope it comforts you to know he felt nothing but love in his last days (and no doubt his entire life with you) and is now free of pain and waiting for you at the Bridge. :bighug:

Brave Bo has begun his new adventure. The GAs at the Bridge are welcoming him with open arms. He'll be well and safe until you meet again. Fly free, dear Bocat_wings>o You are much loved.

So sad when they have to go but, since they must, such a blessing for them when they pass by themselves in their own home. I'm glad you were able to be there for him surrounding him with your love and hope that gives you some comfort at this heartbreaking time :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

Thank you all for your love, care and support both during our recent travails and today for us and Bo's gentle journey this morning on sunrise sunbeams to the Great Beyond.

i apologize for not replying earlier today or, as yet (operative meaning being I will!), to each and all of your heart felt condolences, candles, sharing and blessings for Bo made all the difference in getting through this day of all that it is.

The day affected us all. The younger two, Dancer and Spunky, barely touched their breakfasts. Sootie, Bella and Azalea would not eat until near sundown. This and their coalescing in loss, wreaked havoc on Sootie's bg. By mid afternoon it was over 200. Within about +3 after finally eating, her bg was back in low 100's. Better.

From us all here, wishing you and yours gentlest of nights and sunniest, surfing-est (well, maybe my misconstruction of surfing wouldn't pass the Scrabble test!) days ever.

The night or two before Bo woke up paralyzed, I dreamt, though it was more like he was sharing his dream ----letting be be there with him. He was going along a sidewalk or a path that wasn't quite either, in a shimmering a place that was bustling with energy and light like a city but wasn't. There he was in full coat and glory, light and purposeful of step, sauntering looking left and right all about, soaking in everything with all his senses. He saw and sensed all, I saw the lightness, the sparkle, and his invigoration and joy. At the time I thought he was sharing how he was in youth but there something more about him, too. The night before he passed, it dawned on me, silly human, that he was getting ready and had shared not only that he was now ok with moving to the next realm but also how would be for him and not to worry.
Your vision of the rainbow bridge is beautiful, joyous and comforting, brought tears of thankfulness. The spirit of it was right there in my dream with Bo. I imagine Bo's bell will resonate in the baritone range with him singing along in Maine Coon glory!

Hope I'm not taking liberties by sharing photos (if I oopsied , let me know and I'll remove) . Here's a photo of Bo that I hope you and everyone will enjoy. I'd add the one when he found the bag of catnip sausages, claimed at least one for his own and slept with it until the sausage was a slobbery mess. But here he is, sleeping with his catnip bounty. Oh my....love hugs and thanks, all.

Thank you Wendy, hoping you and Neko doing well. You're amazing! Yesterday with the sun I felt him soaring and warm. Last night in the stillness of all, the skies were clear I'm sure with Bo's star beginning to shine. Today the skies brought early snowflakes and now tears of rain. Such times are never 'easy' for each whose family 'loses' or 'gains' a beloved to the Spirits. But his journey and our journey has been so much softer because of you and every bean here and the kitties and GA's unbounded love and support. I know I always say thank you but it's because we really do, in every moment in every connecting that we're not alone. ❤️❤️

Thank you. I'd almost suggest that Chef Stu (GA) ask Bo to help in the menu department. I'm sure Bo would love to but he's pretty basic, kinda like a meat and potatoes fella. In Bo's case it's pumpkin and banana with sardines and baby beef. Hmmm....with Sootie's predilection for minnows, there seems to be a small fish theme running in this family (and my father loved peanut butter banana and sardine sandwiches...eeeek!). Thank you Julie snd BJM. Butterflies soar with grace and ease. now Bo does too. I like to think of him dancing with them in-flight . ❤️

Thank you for sharing Bo with us. The photo is lovely -- and there is never an "oops" when it comes to a kitty (no matter if the kitty is diabetic or a civvie) -- they are all part of this family.
