Good Morning, Everyone,

Getting a late start. I fell asleep after breakfast, while I was "schmoozing" with Rusty! Rusty is probably having a bounce from what look to have been green numbers yesterday (while we were out on the paddle). He had a good night, good test, shot, breakfast of Wellness Turkey, and then our schmooze. At present he is in his little bed by the radiator. I think he's feeling good and will be curious to see what his numbers look like today. It is a beautiful morning and we are expecting very warm, Indian Summer, weather. Rusty will enjoy some outdoor time today while Edward and I work on doing some painting touch-ups on the house. We have put this off all summer and now there isn't much time left to paint! And, a major "storm of the century" is heading our way, apparently: if Hurricane Sandy heads up the coast and meets the bad Western storm that is now moving eastward, and if both collide with an expected blast from the Canadian Arctic, then we will be in or near the path. If all this happens, it will be early next week, just when I have to go to Burlington VT for a dermatologist appointment (and will have to take a ferry across Lake Champlain). But for now the weather is gorgeous.

Here are a couple of pics from our paddle on Lake Lila yesterday:

Wishing you all a fine day and sending prayers and healing vines to Max and all kitties and beans in need of some,

Ella & Rusty

Re: 10/26 Rusty AMPS 169

Nice pictures Ella....hope you guys are enjoying your day. That "Frankenstorm" sounds like it's going to be very very bad....will be thinking of you all up there...I was thinking of taking a trip up there to see your fall colors but now i will have to put the ttip off on account of the upcoming storm...figures, right?
Oh well, maybe another time....

Come on down to the Lagoon, Rusty! Tess was sure you would be there and made a bee-line for it this morning. Gorgeous pix, fall was out favorite season in MN for canoeing.

Paws crossed the storm doesn't develop for you.

Hi again,

Rusty is surfing in green. Yay! The Lagoonmeister is back at the lagoon. He is having a great day with lots of outdoor time. It is warm, sunny, just perfect Indian Summer. Edward and I got the painting touch-ups done on the house, but ran out of time for repainting the door of the garage. Maybe we'll have some more warm days, but that is doubtful. Haven't heard any new predictions about the storm, but if it does head our way, at least all the autumn leaves are on the ground. Only the beeches and oaks still have leaves on the branches, and both those varieties hold onto their leaves all winter. Our beech tree's leaves go from orange/gold (now) to transparent silver by the beginning of spring, when the new buds push them off. It is so lovely in every season.

bbl,

Ella & Rusty

Ella, how nice you're having an Indian Summer day and enjoying the weather. Those are neat pics of paddle on Lake Lila. Rusty is sure having a nice slide down to the Green Lagoon. Positive thoughts the storm doesn't cross your path. Have a nice evening.

Nice greens for Rusty today. I hope the storm isn't as bad as they say it can be.

Go Rusty go!

We have paws crossed things do not come together for the perfect Frankenstorm. Good luck with preparations, just in case!

I guess Rusty is feeling lots better. The culprit may have been his compacted anal glands. Lots of green today after the AMPS bounce. This is the first number under 50 on this fattened dose (I fattened the dose 2 weeks ago by a drop). We'll see what happens; maybe soon I can take the fat off.
His pancreatitis doesn't appear to be bothering him. He is eating well and acting fine. In fact, he has lots more energy again. Finger and paws crossed for this improvement to continue.

Everyone have a good night,

Ella & Rusty

RUSTY IS Doing GREAT!!!!! WOW and a Reducie!! Rusty feels so much better-Thank Heavens!!
Know What you mean about the storm--Beech and Birch trees are my fav! They do retain their leaves a while...Beautiful country up there--Beaver Lodge, I was looking for a big cabin
Have a good night & may the Storm go out to sea before getting to NY--Hugs & Much Love from us--
I will be in touch....

I bet those glands were a big factor. They've got to be similar in pain to hemorrhoids.
Shadow wouldn't let me look at them if there were 4 of us holding her down....

So Rusty, how's about some surfing? Get up and get there...
