:-D :-D Here I thought yesterday would be one long rest day for Mannie - perhaps a nice flat evening surf - a continuance of the morning. But noooooooooooooooooooo, Mannie decided that his bean should stay up late once again. :roll: Well, in all fairness, it wasn't all that bad, and this bean hit the hay at a decent hour. We did feed the nadir portion of the cycle. Seems to have been OK - we have a 184 at amps this morning. :-D

Mannie's doing well this morning. He made sure I got up. Just like last night when he made sure I went to bed. This seems to be his new thing - it gets to be the last tests of the night, and he is MIA. I find him on my bed pillow, just waiting. The message is clear: go to bed, and stop poking me. :shock: :lol: :lol: shessshhhhh - it was the last test and it was a 78.... He is cuddly this morning, purring as he walks. Breffis #1 and #2 eaten - and YAY! The auto feeder was used this morning: we may win that war after all. Per the norm, napping on the nanners is in progress. Exterior has been ignored - it still is blowing very hard out there, and I'm sure Mannie doesn't want to mess up his freshly preened fur-do.

I KNOW on my fur-do.... I worked for 15 minutes on it this morning, and it was perfect. stupid winds blew it everywhere, and I was only out there for 15 seconds. :-x hmmmpppffffff! I had to spend another five minutes to fix it... I am so done ~~ Mannie

This is such a nice flat blue so far today ... I hope he continues to surf the blues and greens for you, without any major dropping today ... I don't blame mannie for not wanting to go outside in these strong winds .. I wouldn't either!

I love the image of the kitty on the pillow :-D What a good boy, to get his mama bean to bed, even tho she had to get up a few times. But what nice numbers to get up to, huh Michelle? :-D

Hi Devon - me too - nice surf with no dives. paws crossed. he's sunny - loves the outdoors, but not today. He looks out the windows - you can see him following the swaying trees, and he just turns around and heads back to his bed. :lol: :lol: no dummy there...

Hi Pat! I love the pillow thing. this is brand new - i can just see his kitty brain working on OT: get her to bed and I am free and clear... :lol:

Hey Roni! i tried - i really did.... put the meter away and everything, and thought well, still should get that +4. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAaaaa! dang cat hit the 80's, two hours to go to nadir... so heck - one more test, got the food back out... aiyee! AND YES ON THE HALLOWEEN PARTY!!

Attn all my LL friends, old and new! Halloween is coming - we need to party in grand style. Costumes are a must, and menu fit for kings and ghouls alike. Lots of treats, dancing, uhhhhh maybe a few tricks, well maybe not on the tricks! ooooooo - and a haunted house, not too scary though. This will be SO FUN!!! You guys in?? ~~ Mannie, NCIC

Looks like a nice mellow blue day for the Mannster - nice! So cute him telling you it's time for bed by laying on your pillow. What a sweet guy.

Hi Anne - yep, the pillow thing is fun - it's a new thing for him. I hate to pick him up and take him for test. He always lets out the biggest sigh.

Mannie...you and me are surfin blue together today!! Can I go too with Muffin and Tess and Moonie and you? Mamabean is at TBP and Papabean is taking Gussie to the vetty (yuck). And I'm so excited about HALLOWEEN party...maybe I'll be a princess!! Oh wait..I already AM a princess!!!

Michelle...great post today. I think Mannie was definitely trying to tell you something. Glad to see he has this lovely blue surf today. Maybe you can get out in the wind. :lol: :lol:

I think I will have to start buying kitty fuds online... I am tired of going to store after store to get low carb food because none of these stores have much of a variety - or if they do they only carry the higher carb stuff. :-x there - i've now vented....

Hi Marjorie! THX, he's now at yellow, but a low one. and HAHA: I did get out in the wind... i know - crazy! but it was fun - we are very close to the shore here, via a short woodsy trail. Quite the show down there today - big high surf (well high for us), winds, lots of clouds doing all kinds if things. WOOT~ good stuff....

Muffin! buckle up girl - we do be off! we gotta get Gracie and then go and rescue Tess. We need Moonie too - hey maybe we will just cruise the roads today... On our way Gracie! We will be there soon - just to be sure that your papabean doesn't take you to the vetty place by mistake. :shock: ~~ Mannie ---- and YAY!: on the halloween party!

now, i realize there may be some who do not find this funny...but i'm posting it in the spirit of sheer fun...in view of the rotten drooler incident that caused mannie paw pain last month...and cuz i think it is true mannie style!

I tried a new food with Mannie tonight, just for a change of pace - after all the mush of wellness chicken must get old after a while. so --- we gave it a shot with merrick surf'n'turf. the scene went down like this: meow says the cat 20 times over, followed by a face plant, followed by nom nom purr.... purrrrrrrrrr, nom nom, purr purr nom nom nom nom purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr several times over. i guess that was a big hit - the bowl was licked clean. as was his face: such intense face washing - 10 minutes later he is still cleaning, sitting next to his bowl hoping I will serve more. guess i had better serve it again at +1. the whole thing was just too funny. I wonder how hard it is to purr while you eat...

celi - that was funny. and so Mannie. I'm still laughing - in the spirit of fun, and remembering that whole scene with the drooler and Mannie's paw. revenge is mine says the cat. :lol: :lol:

thanks DD - I hope he can pull that off too - such a better color. I too love the pillow thing. It never ceases to amaze me how our furbabies let us know what they think should be going down.

Michelle, I think, them's nice sleeping numbers. Yes, I know we like green, but ya gotta admit, we also like sleep.
Having said that, I will admit to being a bit disappointed that I may get to sleep almost thru the night tonight.

Hey Mannie, no diving tonight, Okay? Let your mamabean sleep. You can go green tomorrow.

Hi Ella! So agreed. I thought something new might be good for a change. He's not a picky eater, and will eat just about anything. even so - something new. lordie be - he loved it.

Hi Barb - oh pul-lease let it be so.... no surprises... not like last night, though not real low, but I still was at it at +5.5. and i hear you on being a little disappointed when we realize we can sleep, or take a nap, or just out of the house for a while. :-D disappointed and elated - what a combo.

Hi Kim - yeah on the "droller incident" - paw is all healed up - took a little while, but all is well. It still pains me to think about how much that must have hurt. and he never really let on. he was pretty good at keeping it clean too. and yes - so clever. i had a good laugh over the pillow. it was too cute.

Moonie! i KNOW on Halloween! I am SO STOKED! good idea on the kitty bus! Maybe I can get the tour bus again, and we could deck it all out halloweenie like. I need to figure out a costume too, something that says manster - but what? i dunno... we will talk tomorrow, yes? Shall we kitties come and visit you again? See you! ~~ Mannie
