Good Morning LL! Today DH and I are celebrating our anniversary, so my Condo visits will be sparse the next day or so - my apologies ahead of time!

DH came last night and immediately usurped Leo's chair (my old chair) so Leo was out of sorts for about an hour. But he remembered DH and started started playing with his nanner and his rat/squirrel again. I walked out of the bedroom and this is what I saw.

Leo is himself, as you can see from his slide down the red mountain in the middle of the night. I so love this ... looks like a repeat of the last two days, which means I'll have MC out in about an hour to steer. Can you believe his tendency for these two-cycle cycles?

Today we are going into DC to pick up our race packets and get our bibs, then running some errands (buying a generator for the big storm coming), and having a nice sushi dinner. Hurricane Sandy is headed right for us and is being called the worst storm we've ever hand on the east coast of the US. They have no computer models based on this kind of storm - it's a hurricane that will mesh into another storm coming into the coast, so it will be a super storm. Both DC and NJ are in it's path - both my places! We have a generator at home, and it will be ready to go after DH moves several boxes of good stuff off the basement floor and runs all the wiring for the generator to the sump pump and the fridge. Be safe all my east coast peeps and kittehs!

And our race is Sunday, when the edge of the storm hits. RUNNNNN!!!

Nice AMPS for Leo today! What a great picture. :-D Good luck on your race Sunday and sending you good weather vines for the hurricane!

Lisa, oh my, so much going on there with you today. Vines and prayers for you and family to stay safe with the storm approaching. I did catch it on TWC this morning. Happy Anniversary to you and sounds like some nice plans to celebrate.

Huh? Leo doesn't normally food spike, but I gave him FF Chicken Feast, which I hear seems to do that despite being 4% on Dr. Lisa's charts. I'll save that information for later use. Hopefully he will surf blue today - that would be WONDERFUL to help put an end to the dramatic bouncing!

Leo's cycles remind me of Mannie's way back, well sometimes now too. What a bouncer and a diver he was then. OMG - we saw all the rainbow colors so many times. One big roller coaster ride. He was dubbed the FDMB Olympic Diving Champion back then. :lol: :lol: Leo is off to a gret start. I hope the +1 is just food.... I know that the FF Chicken Feast will do that to Mannie: always a spike after he eats it. Hard to believe that ti is a 4% fuds...

LEO! DUDE! I love your pic. Mannie s very very proud of you. Guarding your nanner and all. Way to go dude, and keep up the good work.

HI Michelle - Thank you - I love my handsome boy!!! Mannie will have to have a conversation with Leo that being the FDMB Olympic Diving Champion is NOT a good thing! I'm glad Mannie is proud - I thought it would be!

HI Karen - thanks on the anniversary too. We shall have a good day - Leo has given me a permission slip I think! I will run my fastest, but I'm no speed demon. I'm racing against myself and to be in the top 1/3 or top 1/2 of all the women. Thanks!

Leo...you are such a handsome devil. Gracie says you have stolen her heart!!!! What great numbers today. Be an extra good boy so your beans can have some bean time!!

Lisa...sending prayers for your safety. I hope it does not, in any way, prevent you and DH from having a wonderful day together celebrating your love!

Leo looks so adorable in that photo! I love the look in his eyes. He looks so innocent and sweet yet you can see the little rascal in them also. :razz: What a cutie!

I'm right in the path of the storm also (Virginia) but don't have a generator! I should probably get one too. I got through 18 years of hurricanes without one in south Florida so just didn't think of needing it here. With all these trees though when power goes out here it's out for a while. We'll just have to hope for the best.

That's such a great picture of Leo. I hope you have a good weekend and the storm is not as bad as they say it can be.

I'm convinced the meteorologists are all bored and exaggerating...and we could not get nailed this hard two years in a row. So, as far as I'm concerned, we may get some drizzle, but FrankStorm is just a pipe dream made up by The Weather Channel!

Beautiful picture of Leo...I love how his tail is definitely "in action!"!!!
